me: you see, mike wazowski and james p. “sully” sullivan had the most healthy friendship in the whole pixar universe. those two were NOT afraid to show how much they cared for eachother and were constantly supporting eachother, even though they shared one of the most important, and dare i say masculine jobs in monstropolis. nah. they beat the living shit out of toxic masculinity like boo did with randall. even when shit hit the fan and celia lost her shit with mike, those two never left eachothers side. mike nearly got abandoned in the himalayas and came back upon realising he couldn’t handle like without his best mate. it’s such a healthy depiction of the complete understanding of a male friendship.
