i put this on twitter but it feels like the sort of thing i should subject everyone to
i dont consider myself a 'fashion guru' by any means but one thing i will say is guys you dont need to know the specific brand an item you like is - you need to know what the item is called. very rarely does a brand matter, but knowing that pair of pants is called 'cargo' vs 'boot cut' or the names of dress styles is going to help you find clothes you like WAAAYYYY faster than brand shopping
this also goes for aesthetic or -core titles. 'y2k tank top' is going to get you resellers and fast fashion brands advertising to people looking to meet a current trend. 'thin strap crop tank top' is going to get you a diverse group of results and not upcharge you to hell and back
additionally, shop second hand when you can, second hand and thrift sites typically organize clothes by the cut and color. theyll be more affordable than a depop seller curating you a style to sell you
useful terminology for different kinds of clothing shapes :)
WHY IS DRAWING HANDS SO FUCKING HARD
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
you just gotta figure out how to do the mitten thing! (everybody does it differently, so whatever works for you)
make a little mitten shape, a bump for the big thumb muscle, a line for where you want to knuckles to be (and where the fingers end), and you can work out how the hand does hand things~
you can make them more simple or more real, however you want! hands are weird, so don’t worry if they keep looking wrong for a while, once you figure out what works for you, it’ll click. If you practice like 10 or-so basic hand shapes, you can make slight variations on all those, and 10 turns into 20 different hand poses~
Good luck, you can do it, practice until you find your groove, hands are stupid, don’t worry if they don’t look right!
you are a fucking saint x2
I haven’t got a single speck of artistic skill in me but I will reblog for any artist that might find this useful

Taylor after that disastrous oil rig battle on GM
yeah that one baki meme inspired me.
It's like looking at r/murderedbywords. Cos the words actually didn't murder anyone(not even a good comeback most of the times) and also doesn't accomplish shit. Sad all around.
Long time no see. I did the meme.
the default way for things to taste is good. we know this because "tasty" means something tastes good. conversely, from the words "smelly" and "noisy" we can conclude that the default way for things to smell and sound is bad. interestingly there are no corresponding adjectives for the senses of sight and touch. the inescapable conclusion is that the most ordinary object possible is invisible and intangible, produces a hideous cacophony, smells terrible, but tastes delicious. and yet this description matches no object or phenomenon known to science or human experience. so what the fuck
this is what ancient greek philosophy is like
False! “Sightly” is a positive word, so the default way for things to work is good as well.
The true most ordinary object is beautiful, horrible sounding, very smelly, intangible, and delicious.
I still don’t think it matches anything in existence but to truly understand a thing one must know its true nature.
"touchy" is also a word! however it's mostly used for things that aren't objects, like subjects of conversation. it either means "oversensitive and irritable" or "requires careful handling/wording, delicate"
i think the second one works well for our hypothetical object. so we can use that.
therefore, the Default Object is:
beautiful
makes a horrendous sound
smells absolutely awful
is very fragile
tastes delicious
and i still cannot think of anything that matches this
behold, the default object!
DEFAULT OBJECT FOUND

turns out the creator of gandalf big naturals made the images while recovering from anesthesia for top surgery. this implies that the big naturals in question are, in fact, the artist's, and somehow migrated onto gandalf. this has major consequences.
(waking up from top surgery) where's gandalf?
Nurse, tears in her eyes: Who do you think took your big naturals?
Leviathan sculpt and some editing experiment
Made an upper torso sculpt of Leviathan heavily based on u/christoefour's EBs fanart.
Sculpted and painted in blender, and then used grease pencil for the outline. Also used Blender's video sequence editor to finally put together this little video.
