Nothing can prepare you for motherhood... No amount of books, forums and chats with friends before baby arrives will prepare you mentally and physically for the journey you are about to embark on. It's instant, from the moment the little one arrives and is plonked in your arms, it's a 24 hour 7 day a week commitment, unpaid, no holidays and very rarely includes a uninterrupted break... Motherhood has already taught me so much patients, It's the hardest yet the most amazing and worthwhile job I have ever had and its only been 6 weeks! It's shown me a completely different side to my husband whos already the most beautiful human, he's such a selfless, compassionate and caring man who adores me and our little man... Zaki is honestly so lucky to have him as his dada. ❤️ I'm sure most woman that go through pregnancy and motherhood feel the exact same - I honestly feel I could make millions if I wrote a book about the stages of pregnancy, birth, postpartum - all the stuff no one ever tells you about or things you wouldn't even consider.. - be that positive, negative, hilarious or heartbreaking... It would be the best book ever! It's a whole different life and one as mentioned no one could ever set you up for... It's certainly the most rewarding thing I have ever experience in my life, the hardest too! However... Fav products so far... 💙 We were gifted by our hospital here in #dubai @mediclinicme a gorgeous baby hamper along with a few treats for mama too. ❤️ Inside there were @pampersarabia @pamperspure nappies which I have to say are so lightweight, easy to apply, breathable for baby and also at a crucial time - they are great for folding over for protection of umbilical cord. Baby Zakariya Mansoor also suffered with a little sore on his bottom from the wipes we had chosen, the Dr suggested we use only water and cotton pads to clean him for a few days and to apply an alternative to Sudacream (which was making matters worse) - @sebamed.uae nappy cream has worked miracles already! We purchased it over the counter for around 50dhs and honestly it's been a life saver for little zaki. We simple clean him and apply a generous layer to the area and pop the pure nappy on or leave to air with a reusable diaper and WOLAH its clearing up beautifully.
