Notes About Them Cause I haven't talked about this group much:
their group is called “Sewer Surfers” it’s a working title… I need to come up with a better name. I have a couple of ideas, i’ll see which ones sound better.
the group was started by Serotonin, other members include: Androgen, Dopamine, and Adrenaline.
Sero’s main philosophy is that the game is just that, a silly game where nothing matters! Players should just have “fun”. but many apparently take it too seriously.
a bit of a lore dump to explain: Players can’t actually feel physical pain in the game. There’s also a “kill switch” in place for all players. If a scene gets to intense, the switch goes off, and they’re thrusted back into the real world.
In practice, this hasn’t happened (see: can’t feel pain) and many players (who skimmed over the fine print before playing the game) are unaware of this Kill Switch
Sero is very aware, and they want to have fun too, so they’ll find pretty players to party with, have “fun” with them, bring them to “bliss”, and then dump them back home… or somewhere more convenient for them.
They decided to join forces with other players in order to be more intimidating. Sero LOVES attention.
This group is said to have been given immunity by the Devs, which has frustrated many other gangs, which have been prosecuted by the Devs for similar rule breaks.
These four are considered a subgroup, often nicknamed "The Girls" by Sero.
I don't think I need to say this, but you never know: I obviously do not condone the actions of fictional characters. I joke about them, but they suck. They suck total ass. You can still call them hot though, cause looks do not equal morals.
OXYTOCIN - she/her
my clownnnnn. she loves cruel jokes and playing pranks on players.
her role in the group is to make people “smile” and just be a trustworthy face… for like three minutes
before joining, she was already considered a problem by the devs. she was really good at stealing exp from players to a concerning degree.
she was the 4th member inducted into the group, right after she corrupted live on the tournament stage, after beating Adrenaline up.
Oxy’s actually super close with Serotonin, and really really likes their mission of bringing players to “bliss”
However, IRL, she is Lux’s (Sero’s) Ex Girlfriend. They had a horrible break up. Which neither remember in the game.
ENDORPHIN - she/they
successful livestreamer, who got super rich… but needed more. She was already friends with these girls.
But during her “Login In Day”, the anniversary of her joining the game, her friends helped get her to lvl 5, corrupting her, and inducting her into the group.
Her influence has gotten the group access to higher places. She’s often kept like a trophy, and somewhat as advertising
”Look what you could be if you joined us!”
She’s not big on messing with players, however if a player wants to sleep with her, she’d never turn them down!
CORTISOL - they/she
I know their name is kind of like a tiktok meme thing now but like... it wasn't intentional
Anyway, Corti is a nervous wreck. Before joining the group they spent their time doing "fetch quests" (glorified delivery gal)
Unlike the rest of the group, they were not lvl 5 upon joining. Adrenaline forced them to corrupt
Adrenaline was kind of their boss, maybe an old friend? Corti seems oddly attached to them despite the violent outburst between the two
Their anger manifest in destructive actions, for a short meltdown, then they fall asleep and are calm again.
Or just zone out, they do that a lot
The rest of the group ADORE them, spoling them, complimenting them, making them blush, giving them easy targets.
Corti is like a pet to them... and I think they're into that...
Adren thinks its cringe, but I fucking hate that guy
ESTRADIOL - she/it
ITS THE POWERHOUSE OF THE CELL!!! Famous body builder, I love it cause it's built like a brick, but still has that fat on it <3
Big fish keeper, has at least 5 tanks: two 10gs, one 20g long, one 20g high, and one 75g. The amount of fish it has is too numerous to mention
Was added to the group after a fun night backstage between it, Oxy, Phin (pre-corruption), and Dopamine. Estra had already turned before joining, but that night made it reconsider its alliances.
It used to work with The Stickers, a cult-like gang with a massive amount of weapons. Estra still believes in the cult, but not as intensely as the other members do
