Some of my tax return money came in, last night, and I have put myself ahead on all my bills, obligations, and responsibilities. Laundry; done. Homeworks due next week; 60% done. Time to enjoy and money to enjoy it with, I have and I deserve it. And, yet I feel like this. Nothing beats the feelings of rejection, lonliness, and unacknowledgement. I'm hurting and I know I cannot find any reprieve, here, on social media. But, this is the new outlet, and I'm a sucker for punishment. Some will care. Some will revel. And, most won't notice, at all. What am I fighting for and why do I do it in front of a society full of apathetic people? Meh. It's only the symptoms talking. Remember that top tier Honors college I was going to attend? Well, I'm not. 🤔 It's been over a month since I've been on any sort of social media. Not because I don't love you all or because of some nega'emo shit. But, because I've been very busy. Busy doing things I've never done before. Like, getting all As and rocking a 4.1 (that .1 isn't a typo, thanks to my Sociology class) GPA. 🤓 Life has been going so well, that I get too scared, sometimes, to enjoy it. I'm not used to such consistent progress and success. Talking about it is one thing, but to SEE the fruits of your labor.... To FEEL what it's like to be successful on a daily basis.... ::happy sigh:: So, I have --> decided <-- not to go to honors college, for now, and there's no more a gratifying feeling than knowing that it was a choice, and not because I do not qualify. The distance between the two is immeasurable. From awesome new video games to an awesome partner (tomorrow makes nine satisfying months! 😗), to an awesome Best Friend, to awesome Friends and Family, to this awesome brain of mine....The Lego Movie was right: Everything is awesome! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 So there's my update.
