wylan lives in soft jumpers and trousers. he loves knitted things. he likes cute patterns. he likes baggy clothing. most of what he owns is earth-toned. he owns suits, but pulls up to council meetings post-ck in his usual get-up and eventually the other councilors (all in their own versions of formal attire) just give up and accept it. he gets pops of color from the clothing he steals from jesper. he thinks that the amount of bright colors jesper wears is a bit of an eyesore and winces (lovingly) whenever jesper enters the room.

jesper has made colors clash that you didn’t think could clash before. he’s almost always in a suit. he loves plaid. he adores neons. he adds even more color to his outfits by tying on bandannas, bows, and sewing on patches of different patterns to his pants when he’s repairing them. he looks like a fashion disaster but somehow he makes it work. he owns too many hats to be necessary and organizes them by level of objective hideousness. he’s slowly having to resort to the same few suits because wylan is “borrowing” pieces and never giving them back.

the first time jesper waltzes into a council meeting unannounced (pulling his husband priveleges), several of the councilors can’t believe that this is the man wylan hendriks-fahey is married to. quiet, passionate wylan, who comes to work in jumpers with sheep on them and offers to make them all tea on a cold morning? married to a guy with the most eye-searing outfit they’ve ever seen?
