my name is klaus! i’m a queer adult alter-human living in the uk. i am non-binary but i prefer she/they pronouns please!

this blog is a comfort space for my non-human ramblings, kin reblogs, and photography - though i am more active on alter-human instagram under the same name - timberbark!

my theriotypes are the nova scotia duck tolling retriever + the vancouver coastal sea wolf - i have been awakened and active in the kin community since early 2015.

i have a passion for taxidermy, foraging + travelling. i love wild camping ⛺️

i’m currently volunteering at an animal sanctuary and doing farm-work, with hope i can work in animal care or zoology in the future! 🦴

🎨i’m also a self-taught artist and fursuit maker.

i’ve never actually made a character based off of a theriotype before and it is so validating! i really love being able to express myself through art and be able to say “yeah, that’s me!”

replayed LIS2 today, so ful hearted dedication post to life is strange 2 for giving me the best kin feels. this game somehow makes me feel so animal-brained and it’s not even a non-human game.

so i LOVE wearing my dog chain - mostly bc it makes me feel so personally validated. however, i think the sole reason i love wearing it so much is because when i wear it in public (or more so, any of my more subtle gear..) it makes me feel like an actual dog-girl in the eyes of the unsuspecting public. like i feel that, in my head, i’m just a four legged creature making a round trip to the store.

it’s funny that gear can put me in such a shifty mindset; and i can still act human, look human, etc etc. it’s even funnier if i’m wearing a backpack bc this is literally me, you can’t tell me otherwise
