I didn’t really talk about the situation at the time other than to state that I was leaving the fandom, but the information that has recently come to light is horrifying. With that in mind, I’m just going to quickly outline some things about my works about Dream and George. This has always been more of a personal blog, but since my twitter no longer exists I thought I’d say something here. I want to emphasise that this is very far down the list of priorities in this situation, but I equally wanted to make my stance clear.

Several months ago I privated all my works about Dream and George. I thought enough time had passed that nobody would really care or notice, but instead multiple pdf copies were uploaded and shared. Since I wanted to maintain some level of control over my work, I ultimately decided to put the anonymised works back up.

However, I will now be rescinding that decision and deleting all of my works about these individuals.

In posting my writing on the internet I understand that I can never fully erase it, but I hope those who might read this will refrain from posting the links to epub or pdf copies of it. While the works themselves greatly deviated from the source material, they are nevertheless based on two people who I do not wish to support in any way. I appreciate and cherish every comment I’ve received on my work over the last few years, but I can no longer leave them up knowing they essentially serve as positive promotion of Dream and George.

As one of many, many victims of sexual assault, I am beyond furious with these men who once, albeit inadvertently, cultivated a space in which so many young women found comfort and solace. All my support goes to Caiti, Shelby, as well as anyone else who has been affected by these individuals. For those who are struggling to come to terms with what’s happened, I promise letting go will become easier. Please stay safe and stay happy ❤️
