Giselle is Adam Bree and Chase's mother and Douglas is their father. Douglas works with Donald at Davenport Industries. They recently discovered bionics and how they work. They invented human bionics and non human powers bionics provide. They decided that they needed some human test subjects. Douglas's wife (Giselle) was pregnant with her third child(or so we all thought)(Chase). Douglas suggested to use his children when his third child was born. Donald was paranoid and didn't agree with Douglas, but eventually Douggie convinced him. Secretly, Douglas wanted the bionics for evil purposes and he wanted his children to grow and be strong enough to fight and be his soldiers to control with his Triton App. When him and Giselle argued and got divorced, Douglas didn't know what to do, so he decided to take the kids and hide them. Donald knew about what Douglas did because Giselle told him. Douglas planned to make them his super bionic soldiers. Donald came to stop that. He knew that they were for saving, not destroying. He secretly took them and brought them to the Lab and kept them there and told them that he was their father.

Giselle and Douggie decided to get back together a few years later. 8 years to be exact. Douglas was desperate for love. (Awww) He told Giselle anything she wanted to hear. He told her that the children went to an adoption center. He told her that he was in hiding and that he faked his death. For certain reasons. Giselle came back for a break from her hubby and to have a little fun with Douglas. One thing leads to another and Douglas and Giselle had Daniel. And if you didn't know, the kids names are in alphabetical order:

Cool right? Anyways, and Douglas failed at his attempt to give him the trident app on his chip. So he decided to actually give him up for adoption.

Thirteen years later, Daniel (I forgot how), found the bionic island or something. Douglas told all of the kids about their younger brother.

Giselle left him shortly after Daniel was given bionics. Douglas was left in the shadows. He had wanted to create that super soldier forever. And when bionic chips fail, there comes in the titanium. He created Marcus. An android in the shape of a sixteen year old kid with CrAzY eye brows. His mission: capture Adam, Bree, and Chase. Douglas had the idea to create him when he hacked Davenport's security systems and knew about where Adam, Bree and Chase were. He trained his android creation and told him that he was a bionic super human. Marcus believed him, but all he wanted to do was eliminate Adam, Bree, and Chase for good. Or ya know, for bad. He and Douggie knew how to get them back.

When Giselle came to visit the bionic island for Bionic Action Hero, Douggie was so nervous because he loved her twice and failed her twice. He didn't want to disappoint her again.

But once she figured out that Douglas had been experimenting on them with bionics, her passion along with Android creation, she only managed to take Mae and she left Douglas for Washington DC where she could get a good paying job, creating androids for the government.

She met a guy, I don’t remember his name but is actor name is like Bart something.. Anyways, he had a son that was about two years old when Mae was a baby. Giselle and this guy were married and she continued to create the Androids for the government..

Then her husband began to take credit. Then it became a routine. Giselle created, told him what to say and do and he took credit. She didn’t want or try to give him credit. He forced her. One year about 4 years after she married him, she got so upset she left Mae with him and ran away to Mission Creek. She got in contact with Douglas and they had a little “fun”. Next thing ya know, she’s pregnant! (With Daniel) She came back telling her husband that it was his, then going back on a “business trip” to Mission Creek for a month or so and gave the baby to Douglas, who gave him bionics. She was upset and went back to her husband in Washington DC. She resulted in telling her family that the baby was still born and that some of it probably happened because she had to fly on the plane for “work”.

But her husband still took credit for all of her work. To hide it from their kids, they said that they were video game designers. And they were in constant arguments! This caused years and years of bickering.
