With a nod, Holly moved to brush a piece of hair behind her ear before answering, when she simply said, “Where do I even start?” The problem was it wasn’t an easy question to answer. “I work at Club 54, among other things.” She laughed.

"Club 54 is amazing. I always go there when I'm not at the hospital or asleep." He said, laughing. "Other things? I hope they are legal things."

“Oh, grow up! Your mother is allowed to be viewed as attractive because she is. I wish I could look as beautiful as she does. I am so challenging you right now. Rock my world, Werner. I bet you dream of me. Whatever floats your boat. I’m not sure how Thomas Alexei Awesome Werner works, though.”

"Just stop talking about my mother, please. I accept your challenge, but you are gonna lose. If that were true it wouldn't be a dream, it would be a nightmare. It might not works, but that's my name. Not much I can do about it."

“No. I’ve told Connor and Charlotte.”

"What? Nadia, you can't go around telling people that. Especially, when it's not true. Just stop, okay?"

“That sounds like the dream life, I envy you so much. I’ve been great, I have to film an episode tomorrow for the new season, it’s exciting.”

"I can sense your sarcasm. That's great, I've been getting tired of watching the same episodes."

Luciana raised her eyes before shaking her head. “Oh no, it’s not taken. Please sit down.” She said, smiling at the stranger before returning her focus to her book.

"Thanks.This place is always packed. " Thomas said as he sat down, trying to read the title of the book she was reading, it was an old habit he had. "What are you reading? If you don't mind my asking."

“I can confirm to you that I look mighty fine in every shade I decide to wear, just grab me a rainbow wardrobe and I’ll do a runway show for you… in many jumpsuits too, even the prison one. Yes, original, no one really wants to be a copy cat, do they? It would just be embarrassing to have you confused for another killer, no great assassin should be looking for that kind of shame. That doesn’t necessarily make you good, or them worth of dying, I mean, sometimes death is actually helpful? Like if you’re sentenced to life time in jail, if you die, your sentence gets shortened right?”

"I don't know, Char. I still have some doubts. Exactly, that's why for the last years I've been studying every serial killer that had existed in this country and let me tell you some of them were very originals. It will be hard to find my own style. Well, that's actually a good point but I guess I'd feel better murdering bad people than innocent people. I guess it has something to do with manners. To be honest, I seriously doubt I could be a serial killer. I like saving people, not kill them."

Dani shrugged her shoulders. “It’s okay. It keeps life interesting, I suppose.” She smiled, looking over at him. “You don’t have to apologize. You didn’t do anything. I feel like I should give you something free to make up for it.”

"I bet it does." He said, laughing. "As long as you don't give me another book like this one, I will be fine." He joked, showing her the book before putting it down. "How long have you had this store?"

“It’s definitely not, but like I said, good for you for making the attempt. How much longer do you have in school? And then you have to do your residency after that, right? Yeah, consumer spending is the biggest part of our GDP, which really isn’t that surprising when you think about it.”

"This is my last year in med school. Yeah, another four years of residency. It's a never ending journey. It doesn't surprise me a lot. I'm starting to think I should have picked advertising as my career, seems like they get a nice salary." 

“People are the strangest people,” she responded with a casual shrug of her shoulders. “Oh, I’m Holly. Hi.”

"I couldn't agree more with you on that." He said, nodding his head. "Nice to meet you, Holly. So, what do you do?"

“Exactly! It won’t kill you. Okay, you get hit on all the time, so of course you would think that. However, how many women get hit on in scrubs? Unless you’re a nurse like your mom, you don’t. You’re just gonna have to prove to me how wild you are while we’re napping in the on-call room, okay? Maybe you’ll compliment people more with more sleep in you. I thought your middle name was Alexei.”

"Ew! Don't talk about my mother like that. You know you are right, women in scrubs are off the list. Are you challenging me? Because you know I love proving you wrong. Don't get your hopes high, sleeping won't get you more compliments. I have two middle names, okay?"

“While that’s all logical, something is still highly fishy about all of this.”

"There's nothing fishy. Please tell me I'm the only one you've told this theory of yours?"

“Samuel L. Jackson,” Carmen replies immediately. “Or Eartha Kitt. But seeing as Eartha’s dead, God rest her soul, Sam is really the only viable option.”

"Do you think Sam would accept? I mean maybe this role could be a huge test for him. I'm sure it could get him his first Oscar." He chuckled.

“Maybe they didn’t know they hated it. Sometimes those things happen. Anyway, aside from all the blood matter, how you’ve been?”

"I've been alright. I'm tired all the time and I can't stay up without caffeine but aside that I think I'm fine. You?"

Thea huffed. “While you make a good point, mister, you’re not the one who has to go back and tell her fiance that she’s run off. Unfortunately, that’s my job.”

“Do you want me to do it? We could have a guy to guy talk and maybe he’ll realize that he wasn’t ready to tie the knot yet.” Thomas offered with a smile.

“Doesn’t matter if they’re scared of blood then, does it?” she mused playfully.

"It doesn't, but I still find it a bit odd that they picked this career having that fear." He said. "I'm Thomas, by the way."

“Nice to meet you, Thomas. I’m Olivia.”

"Nice to meet you, Olivia. So, what do you do?"
