“I won’t tell, don’t see a need to. I’ve got a lot of scarves and gloves. Some jackets. Some shirts. Some pants. Some shoes. Nothing not dressy, and I doubt half of it would fit you.” 

“Well any clue as to why that is?”

“No idea. Do you have one?”

“Oh, I’m sure it’s not deliberate! They’re probably just don’t realise who you’re talking to, I know I do that far more than I should.”

“Thanks for trying to comfort me, but it’s not working.”

“So are you two seeing each other then? Or was this simply her not seeing Cygnus?” 

“I’d like to say yes, but I don’t think she is interested in me like that.”

“Fair point. You don’t think it’d get complicated, sleeping with a teammate?” 

“Nah. I don’t see why it would.”

“Not that yo- Thomas that’s not what I meant. But us sleeping together, yes, that was. You’re my teammate, and and I’m not- I don’t… do things like that. I don’t sleep with people just because there’s a party and I’m drinking, I’m not like that and I’m sorry I did with you but… I did, and it was a mistake, yes.”

Thomas shoved a medium sized, perfectly wrapped present into Phoebus’s hands with no regard as to what he was doing or holding at the moment. Inside the package was an assortment of helpful potions and a Slytherin colored scarf. 

“Gotta keep your looks up, yeah? And the potions are all simple good luck charms for you or your friends. Except one. One’s a love potion. Hope you’re skilled enough to figure out which is which.” 

He clicked his tongue and patted the other male on the back.

“She know you’re confirming all that?” 

“I don’t see why she would care. She’s the one who slept with me, after all.”

“Are they now. Fascinating. Do you think that had something to do with the way the Gryffindor-Hufflepuff game turned out?” 

“Maybe she realized Rokonski isn’t all he’s cracked up to be.”
