Masayuki Matsumoto was 20 years old, when Hiroshima was destroyed by the nuclear bomb.He was a driving force in the Liaison Council of Black Rain Hibakusha groups. Relentlessly working for the recognition of all Hibakusha and for the Process to demand official recognition. On 23rd of July, the process of the Black Rain Hibakusha came to an end. After 5 years the judge ruled that about 80 people active in the trial will now be officially recognized as survivors of the atomic bomb. I am so happy about this victory for those that have been excluded from the ‚official heavy rain area‘ sind 1978 and struggling to be recognized since 1945. Masayuki Matsumoto died in March this year. Four month before the ruling was made public. #shame All my heart is in Hiroshima these days!
