anyway.. im never gonna forget the way some of y’all acted toward ppl who were rightfully upset, angry, and hurt over taylors association with That Guy. im never gonna forget that some of y’all saw taylor spending time with a dude who enjoys violent racist porn, uses the r slur, participated in making derogatory jokes that took aim at a woman’s body and mocked chinese and indigenous ppl, is openly islamophobic, among many other things, and said “well as long as taylor is happy 🥺”

being a poc swiftie is so exhausting because i literally try to defend my rights by screaming at the top of my lungs for white swifties to yell at me and call me a bitch and tell me to shut up but the moment i say i no longer have the emotional bandwidth to continue educating white ppl on how not to be a bigot i get yelled at for being a bad activist and ally for other marginalized groups and for being a bigot myself for not continuing to stand up…………

All of this and hope it’s ok I add this: y’all have no right to make Grace or any of us feel this way. We do not owe nonmarginalized people our anguish or a show. I said this once before but as white fans the job is to listen, amplify, and call people in. It’s not to police us. Telling someone genuinely impacted by this how to behave is gross and entitled.

I would like to send my condolences to ask blogs during this trying time. Thank you for being so willing to explain things, give advice, and be a friend in a time of need for your askers and anons. I’m sorry you have to deal with people trying to bait you into saying the wrong thing, people twisting/taking your words out of context, and people who think that an anon saying one thing means that you agree with them completely.
