| BACKSTORY |

Stella Accardi is the first daughter of Angel Dust, Husker, and biologically by Valentino. She was conceived when her mother had sex with Valentino at a motel one night, and as soon as Angel found out he was pregnant, he left to protect her.

Nine months later, Stella was born at the Hazbin Hotel on February 14th at 12:32pm. She weighed thirteen pounds and measured at nineteen inches long. Uncoincidentally, she shares a birthday with her birth father.

| PERSONALITY |

In her infancy, Stella’s parents could describe her as sweet, curious and easy-going. She was known to follow her favorite grown-ups around as soon as she learned how to crawl, and she loved being held by just about anyone. The entire hotel utterly adored her.

Her curious demeanor never faded even as she got older. Stella often asked a lot of questions and wouldn’t stop until she got answers, much to the dismay of her parents. When her younger siblings were born, she was immediately in love with them. She was always asking to hold them and play with them. Stella is also sassy, friendly, active, impulsive and an ambivert.

Stella is a 7’5” tall moth-spider hybrid demon. She has long hair that reaches her mid-back; it starts out white at the roots and turns pink as it gets closer to the ends. She mainly wears it down or up in a ponytail, bun or in braids. Stella has hot pink moth antennae on the top of her head, courtesy of her biological father. Additionally, she has light pink stripes on her arms and legs, and a pink heart on her chest.

Her eyes have a light yellow sclera with a light pink iris, and beneath both of them sit three smaller light-pink ocelli. She has three sets of arms. Only two sets of them are visible at all times, while her third is retractable. Stella also has a pair of beautiful pink moth wings that she keeps tightly folded against her back. She is able to fly, but chooses not to because she’s fearful of heights.

Much like her mama, Stella is a fashionista. Her wardrobe consists of many different types of sweaters, cardigans, baby tees, mini skirts, jeans, babydoll dresses, shorts, sweatpants, lacy socks and shoes like sneakers, boots and heels. Everything she wears has to match in some way or she refuses to leave the hotel.

| FUN FACTS |

Stella is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian. She learned Italian from Angel and Husk, Spanish from Vaggi, and English from just about everybody else. Alastor even taught her bits of French.

She ended up meeting her half-sister, Vicky, when they both started school. They quickly became friends and once they found out they were sisters, they became inseparable.

When nursing, she would lightly tug on Angel’s chest fluff because it was soft. Lucifer gifted the baby a pink duck lovey for her to hold instead in an attempt to save Angel's fur.

Stella loves to cook and bake, but only by herself. If someone else tries to help she gets irritated and asks them politely to leave.

In addition to flying, Stella also has Valentino’s teleportation powers. Whenever she sneezed as a baby, she’d disappear in a cloud of pink, glittery smoke, giving her parents a heart attack. Charlie eventually had to place safe guards around the hotel because Stella once teleported to Vee Tower, and they feared she could end up somewhere much more dangerous if they didn’t take precautions.

Stella’s favorite foods include lasagna bolognese, spinach and ricotta ravioli, crinkle-cut french fries, onion rings, buttery popcorn with extra salt, arancini (chicken/cheese/both), red beans and rice, jambalaya, birria tacos, seafood gumbo, strawberry mangonada, chocolate rice pudding, strawberry tres leches cake, peach rings (chamoy/regular), fresh fruit, asparagus, steamed broccoli with seasonings, cannoli, chocolate chip pancakes, fudge brownies, strawberry cookies with white chocolate/cream cheese chips, and chicken alfredo.

She is neurodivergent, specifically ADHD and autism, and was diagnosed as such at four years old when her parents noticed she had some behaviors relating to the respective disorders. Fortunately, she is still incredibly social and loves people.

Stella sometimes prefers wearing socks indoors because she dislikes the feeling of certain flooring on her feet. She hates being barefoot on carpet and linoleum, but she tolerates it on wood.

Alastor doesn’t like to admit it, but he’s rather fond of Stella. When she was an infant, he let her play with his shadow puppets, having them “chase” her and tickle her. He feeds her bits of grilled chicken and mild sausage once she’s old enough to have solid foods.

Lucifer also absolutely adores the baby. He begs to babysit her if Husk and Angel are busy, and is often seen carrying her around and cooing to her. He uses his magic on her stuffed animals to put on plays for her.

Charlie and Vaggi will sing lullabies to her in Spanish if they’re putting Stella down for a nap or bedtime.

Auntie Niffty makes sure everything is neat and tidy for Stella when she arrives. The entire hotel is triple-cleaned, and her laundry is washed separately from everyone else’s to ensure that Niffty can use products that are gentle for a tiny baby. She was a little miffed that she was too small to hold Stella the way the others could when she was born, so Alastor used his shadows to temporarily make her a bigger pair of arms.

Baxter doesn’t particularly care for Stella. It isn’t anything personal, but he has never been fond of babies or children. He has expressed interest in taking some of her blood for experimental purposes, but Angel threatened him so badly that he never mentioned it again.

Due to Angel’s job as a sex worker and performer, Stella is raised in a sex-positive environment. From the time she was old enough to understand, Husk and Angel taught her about consent, safe vs. unsafe touches, what coercion looked like, what abuse can look like, snd how to protect herself against STDs and unplanned pregnancies.

Stella has the privileges of both a Hellborn and a Sinner because of how she was conceived. She is mostly immortal, and therefore, she cannot die unless she were to be murdered. She would age normally until she reached her thirties, and then she would completely stop aging in a physical way.

Every year on her birthday, Valentino sends Stella a small gift with nothing attached to him. It’s usually a card, some money, a small piece of jewelry, and a bag of one of her favorite candies. She keeps all of the cards he sends her in a box tucked away in her closet. When Stella comes over to spend time with Vicky, Val is incredibly sweet to her and asks how she’s doing.

Stella’s best classes in school are art, science, home economics, and physical education. She participates in extracurriculars like gymnastics, ballet and swimming, even though her fur always gets annoyingly wet.

Cherri is appointed Stella’s godmother, much to her delight. She likes teaching her niece how to fight and play wrestling with her. Cherri once showed her how to use those snapper fireworks, but not without going over safety precautions with her. After that, she was always asking Angel or Husk if she could “blow shit up with Auntie Cherri”.

Stella figured out pretty early that Husk wasn’t her biological father, and as much as she loved the man who helped raise her, she wanted to know who else had a part in creating her. So one day, she asked Angel and he told her everything. Even though Angel didn’t like admitting that Stella was Valentino’s birth daughter, he never intended on keeping that information from her.

And the thing is, I’ve NEVER seen someone make this argument about a gay man. People are perfectly fine with just not shipping gay men with women, but if the character’s a lesbian? Suddenly it’s Vivziepop wanting to tear down all the male x female ships that she apparently hates. Also Viv has said in the past that she’s fine with people shipping whatever, so this claim doesn’t hold any weight in the first place.

I also hate when people change Velvette to be bisexual and then say “bisexuals are still queer so it’s fine!”. Like obviously bisexuals are queer but the problem with this is that many people (mostly straight men) have this idea that all lesbians are secretly bi and that it’s impossible for a woman to just not like men, and so you’re kind of reinforcing this idea when you pull this shit with Velvette.
