another horrific interaction with the director at my internship who said she was going to be “brutally honest” to my professor when we have our zoom next week about how my internship has been. like girl whatever i’ve already told my professor all about you and communicated how u operate idgaf 🤪 (by this i mean i am shaking with fear but wtf can i do)
had a WONDERFUL interaction with a gay man in my community who does a lot of advocacy work for ppl with hiv and aids, he was so wonderful and from the same tribe as me, in recovery and had such a beautiful heart. when i met him we shook hands and when i left he gave me the biggest hug.
didn’t get the job at CPS due to what i think is an issue with whoever is looking at my transcripts and not reading them right. they said i don’t meet the minimum qualifications of 90 college credit hours despite having 115 hours total so im fucking bamboozled and was emailing in circles with a lady who seemed quite frankly a little slow pls forgive me… so i emailed my advisor and was like hey.. can you look at my transcript from both my community college and the university I’m currently enrolled in and tell me if I’m being stupid or if they’re being stupid bc i HAVE to call them and i need to know what it is i am saying with utmost clarity like this opportunity would be amazing.
every day something is going on dude i’m so exhausted and over the summer truly.. anyways im meeting up with a friend tomorrow that i made and she is making us margaritas and then saturday i am going on a kayaking escapade with my man and my family and im excited. some good with the bad and some bad with the good. luv u
