  𝑹𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒂𝒏 𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒘 the young woman stands idle in the same spot as seconds prior, observing everything from what could be considered a safe distance. The clumsy ways of the man left the mark of an impression.  ❛❛  Sounds hard.  ❜❜  Vermillion lips spoke, with a neutral tone to assert the indifference detached. With an air of familiarity there is no way she could grant herself the privilege of lowering the guard. Especially in worlds like that one, where the mafia could be lurking in any corner ready to strike.  ❛❛  I was really wondering if I should call the emergency services. Good to see that wasn’t the case …  ❜❜  Right hand comes to rest in one of her own shoulders, where strands of hair seem to laid in the same lazy manner. Amaranthine gaze pointing right through … Till eyes wide open. Did he said 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 ?

  Well, well ! That was indeed a first of the firsts, to be talking with someone of that caliber with the bright sun above their heads.  ❛❛  So … “Bucking-Horse Dino” is requesting me something … What kind of request are we talking about ? To see if I have space in my schedule.  ❜❜  

       THANK THE   lord she hadn’t called any health services.  technically he’s not supposed to even  BE  in contact with another famiglia and he doesn’t want to flag the Vongola as such !!  his job is made easier when she recognizes his name and she’s gone  STRAIGHT  to the point.  at least the mafia boss won’t be out in the open to be  CAUGHT  by his allies.

“Dino Cavallone.” His name leaves the woman’s lips in greeting as her shoulder met the frame of the door. Sure enough, two of his men flanked her, an indicator that they had acted as her guide. The reason and purpose of her visit remained unknown to her host, but sure enough, she was known enough to not be seen as an enemy. She wanted to see with her own two eyes who Reborn took on as a student before the youth that was said to take the throne of their famiglia. 

       HE’D BEEN   warned about the CEDEF member’s visit.  typically a  “ neutral ”  contractor such as them paying a visit ,  while still  SOMEWHAT  answering to Vongola ,  doesn’t normally bode well.  warm brown eyes glance up from finishing up some paperwork ,  only for hues of brown to  TWINKLE  with the equally warm smile that shows up underneath.  he waves off the two guides before standing up to motion to some wine on a cart ,  the glass  WINKING  with the sunlight hitting it.

       AH ,  SO   it is that time of year again.  strangely enough ,  the box sits near the  MAIN  entrance of Kokuyo land.  if it came from Ken or Chikusa or Chrome ,  it would be sitting next to his  throne.  craning down ,  bony pale fingers open the letter without detaching ,  only for an  ENTERTAINED  smile to play upon his face.

  𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑰𝑴𝑨𝑮𝑬 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 any thoughts the woman could’ve had in her possession in that moment. The impression left by the sound of the floor against flesh sent a thunderbolt running through her spine, straight the pose in which she was with a lot of possibilities running wild. The gentle 𝘇𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 join their encounter.  ❛❛  Even if it doesn’t, that fall was quite … hard to see.  ❜❜  That entrance was … unexpected, intriguing … yet, the young woman stands still. Surely, there was a something inside her mind that couldn’t recall. Has she seen this man in other place ?  ❛❛   Are you sure you feel good ?  ❜❜  Probably not. In any case, she wasn’t planning to show fingers to know the state he is in.

       SHE’S ACTUALLY   quite young.  with the arrival of Tsuna ,  it feels as though  MOST  newcomers are quite young lately.  he’s beginning to feel a little  OLD  only at the ripe age of twenty - two.  in reality ,  Dino needs  HELP  trying to lure in a hacker.  being in the  SECOND  largest famiglia ,  there are certain situations that  ONLY  he should handle with no help from the Vongola.  even so ,  the Cavallone famiglia didn’t get to where it’s at through doing everything  ALONE.  catching a hacker who uses smoke and hides  “ in the mist ”  should give  THIS  girl a homefield advantage if he’s got the right information ...

    “   haha ...  yeah.  i’m not really too  sure  why i’ve been falling a lot more for the last hour.   ”

       HIS BACK   pops twice as he stands up with an  EMBARRASSED  chuckle ,  dusting off his signature jacket.  he’s got to work on keeping up with his  GRAND  entrances.  this was anything  BUT.

He wasn’t one to follow customs or a hierarchy that wasn’t of his own creation, which only meant that Hibari Kyouya would make for a poor diplomat. Fortunately his line of work happened to be one where he could use either his brute strength, money, blackmail, plotting or a combination of all to achieve results. Certainly, any other Don in his company would have shown discontent at the notion of pouring for a non-Don. But the two Dons he spent the most time with happened to understand how he operated, without (too) much offense. It seemed Bucking Horse was backing down this round — but as always, had to make a point that he was there and available should Kyouya change his mind. 

“Of course,” he murmurs, before taking his fill of sake, as another thought comes to mind, while they were on the subject of life and death. 

“ —- Would you shed tears at my funeral? I’m curious now.” 

       WHAT AN   odd pathway his mind leads down.  it goes to show that the Cloud Guardian  TRULY  does not have a set path for  ANYTHING  he’s involved with ,  including his thoughts.  it’s a surprise question that causes brown eyes to widen slightly with confused wonder.  it’s never even  OCCURRED  to him that Hibari would  die.  after all ,  they’d made it through  WORLD  DOMINATION.  yet it’s an easy question to answer.

One of the Committee’s members (as difficult to distinguish as they are, with their matching uniforms and hairstyles) steps forward and clears his throat. “The reason behind your visit is irrelevant. We have been given the strictest orders to turn you away upon sight, or fight you to the death if you decide to be difficult. If you have business with other members at the school, kindly conduct it off of our campus.” 

From Dino’s view, he could see the figure of a certain prefect standing near the window in the reception room, watching the scene play before him — not unlike a king upon his throne. 

       A QUICK   glance is thrown up at the very window he saw a  SHADOW  of a figure in his peripheral vision.  as usual ,  his instinct is right when he sees  glowing red  eyes behind glass with attention turned upon himself.  by now he would have thought Hibari was  humbled  a couple of times but apparently not ...

       CASTING HIS   own attention back to the goonies of a  TEENAGER ,  a  WARNING  smile appears on his face as he places his hand behind his back.

   ❝ Shoo shoo, don’t come any closer you demon !! ❞  

The child muses desperately while taking a few steps back with hand gestures that support his plea but alas, it is to no avail. He is grabbed and soon falling down. The hard surface welcomes his petite frame rather harshly ; enough to actually draw out some tears from sea-from eyes. 

  ❝ Is this how fruits feel when they are broken in two? ❞  

A sniff. He might be overreacting a bit, after all, he used to play around mountains and fall from falls quite a lot. Still, the pain is always real. 

   ❝ You ugly pineapple head just wait, one day I will get my revenge and make you cry too! ❞  

       WHAT AN   AMBITIOUS  young child.  of course it’s a goal he’ll  NEVER  be able to realize.  tears from the  MASTER  illusionist have run dry  DECADES  ago.  that river is in an eternal drought.  while his body remains young ,  his mind is  LIGHT  YEARS  ahead.

    “   not when you have to relearn everything for another ten years.  you just  MAY  catch up to the current me in ...  perhaps  THIRTY  years ??   ”
