so attack on titan ended
i knew however it would end, the series had already long paid its dues for me. im genuinely sad it’s over but it’ll be special to me for a very long time (i did like the ending and the series as a whole. i cried for sure). i met a lifelong best friend 7 years ago through this series and it’s so so amazing and so much more than i couldve ever asked for.
i started the series 7/8 years ago and dropped it for about 3 years before i picked it up again 5 months ago. i dont talk to anyone on here anymore and most people wont know who i am. but people i didnt know gave me a place here to express myself and my enjoyment in the series. everyone whos ever interacted with me in any way, strangers and old friends, made that more special to me. i felt less lonely as a naive 19 year old and that was all i needed. this series did that for me again in a bigger and different way when i picked it up again 5 months ago.
the characters of this series will always be special to me. their emotions, thoughts, and experiences touched my heart and at times gave me the little bit of the motivation i needed and im so thankful for that. if i could do the same for anyone that ever just needs a place to talk or friend, my dms are open.
