And I'm not even mad about Byler not becoming canon, I'm pissed off because WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT.

But I don't understand why people here are so against porn - in general.

The porn and erotic industry is complicated and of course there are a lot of issues, mostly in the big productions.

Well, no shit!

It goes like this: the DM usually freaks out everytime they play because the whole party usually ends up making the weirdest decisions the DM didn't think about (and the bard usually Is the One that initiate it - at least in my experience!)

A few days ago I rewatched “4 Weddings and a Funeral.” And no, I'm not an incurable romantic, so it's odd. But you know what? For the 1990s, this movie was really ahead of its time! Don't believe it? Just hear me out for a second.

From a thematic standpoint, especially regarding the characters of Matthew and Gareth, it was not common to address queerness in the 1990s.

The way the topic is treated, however, doesn't pass the test of time very brightly: Gareth is the classic comedy gimmick and the “bury your gays” narrative trope is again exploited - does the Hays code ring a bell?

Still, the whole thing is wrapped up with a disarming delicacy, not expected at the time - or even now.

Gareth's funeral sequence remains the most heartbreakingly sweet scene in the entire movie.

My favorite thing that made me temporarily forget the movie's flaws was the ending.

After the bittersweet farewell to Gareth and Charles's (failed) marriage, the latter and Carrie crown their dream of love with a proposal ... to never marry.
