The World I Escape To

Anyway, I love this drawing @cookiepianos has drawn for her greetings card that she created for Christmas last year, it’s lovely, :D. I love those sunflowers, which are just like the sunflowers which were a part of Yui’s movie Midnight Sun, :). The drawing is so detailed, taking into consideration all the neat detail such as the guitar cords, the shades of her hair and the shape of the sunflowers. It really is brilliant, thank you so much @cookiepianos, I love it, :D.

This lovely drawing was created by my close friend, @cookiepianos, she drew Rinoa Heartilly from Final Fantasy VIII (8) as a Christmas gift in the style of the artist Alphonse Mucha. It’s digitally drawn brilliantly, :). Those lovely white flowers really frame the drawing so well, just like the yellow lilies in her drawing she created of Aerith/Aeris Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII (7). I especially love the doves and feathers she’s drawn, since white feathers are so synonymous with Rinoa, as you can see from the opening theme song, Liberi Fatali from Final Fantasy VIII. It’s so nostalgic, bringing old memories back again of losing myself in a great fantasy story, :). Thank you so much @cookiepianos, I love it, :D.

This fantastic colourful drawing that my very good friend, @cookiepianos, drew for me for an Easter gift of the character Aeris/Aerith from Final Fantasy VII (7). It’s in the style of the artist Alphonse Mucha, and I think she’s drawn each aspect of the image brilliantly. Thank you so much, I love it, :D.

You can see how talented she is, and it really shows, :). It’s a really sweet picture of Aerith/Aeris, and captures the moment beautifully. The flowers in the chapel where Cloud Strife landed in Final Fantasy VII, :). Looking at the flower, remembering Cloud. Her drawing and colouring technique is so intricate, it’s amazing! I love it, <3. I plan on putting it up around my workstation along with the Naruto drawing she also made for my Birthday a while ago, :). It’s a really lovely drawing, :).

This was created from a previous abstract design I haven't uploaded yet, I need to tweek the other design a little more before I decide to upload it. I love this effect, it creates so many possiblities and can really open up my older designs and can create a totally different result. It really works well with different shapes, colours, and patterns. I love how this effect has given emphasised the edge, sharpening it, yet giving it a spacey and futuristic impression. It also adds a neon effect that enhances the lines and the paths they travel. The effect on this abstract design has created a sharp, yet subtle result. Believe it or not, but this abstract design originated from one of my photos of a pincushion-like flower that I took in 2009.

In case you haven't already noticed, this came originally from my previous design, Land of the Lowering Sunset. I tried an effect I've used on a fractal I created once before, but I didn't expect to create a rainbow out of a sunset design, it was a pleasant surprise, :D. I love the effect this rainbow creates and the contrast with the black background. It's really striking.

I not only love how this effect has enhanced the fur on this cat, it's also a cat I knew very well. It's a cat that used to visit my Oma's (grandma's) garden every so often, it was always a familiar sight. It was a ginger cat, but the only cats I see visiting my garden are either black and white, and on the rare occasion, fluffy and blown in the front garden. For me, this effect is like an imprinted visage of my memory. It's a black and white imprint, fixed in my memories. I love how this effect has defined its furs so well, it creates a striking impression, and from the cat's pose, it almost looks like it's about to leap upwards, it's like the sudden shocking expression before it jumps.

I saw this white butterfly land on this white blossomed bush just outside the front door near the footpath to the street path. At first it refused to open its wings, and although I was annoyed, I stood patiently, waiting until it decided to open them. As I was standing there, it eventually open its wings, and I took my chance to make the most of it and I took photos from different angles, and this was one of them. I love this photograph because there is a delicate difference between the colours of the flower and butterfly, they both blend and constrast with each other. I also love how, at least from the photographs I've taken of butterflies, that they tend to create the illusion of luminescence.

This camellia is actually a striped patterned variety, but the darker pink flower bloomed on the same plant, lol. It shows the best of both worlds, :D. The darker variety is also not that different from the camellia that is outside the kitchen door into the back garden. Either way, I was immediately taken when I saw two different camellia flowers on the same plant.

‘Living with Aspergers’s syndrome in the UK can be very difficult. The autistic spectrum is vast and there are very few experts in autism in the UK. I find travelling very difficult mainly due to severe anxiety, so I make the most of every opportunity I can. Not only that, but when it comes to nature and wildlife photography, I find it relaxing to sit outside, either in my garden or at my local lake. I’m inspired by all nature and wildlife and I want to capture them on my camera to preserve the memory and discoveries I’ve found forever.’

I first noticed this hawthorn shield bug at the tip of my Red Emperor Japanese maple tree. I think it may have fallen from the brick wall that was behind it. I picked the hawthorn shield bug up with a dandelion leaf, and carried it with me to the grass where I started taking photos. I soon learnt afterwards that the hawthorn shield bug has an unfortunate ability to let out a strong smelling fluid that can stain your hands. It's not that different when it comes to the autistic spectrum in general over here. I am affected by it, and yet, I found no understanding whatsoever by 'professionals'. I wrote a letter into a meeting my mum attended with these 'professionals', and yet, they were more interested in 'how I wrote', rather than what I said. In fact, when I got diagnosed, we were left with nothing. There was no real help and support after you found out you were on the spectrum, why is that? Why is there so little understanding of the autistic spectrum, and very little in the way of coping environments. I don't understand that.

This photograph was taken near my local lake. Being a fan of most things Japanese, I couldn't resist adding one of my cherry blossom photos. I love how the darker and lighter pinks contrast well with each other, and how the branch stands out, and yet, blends into the background, like a torrent of blossoms.
