NPC Spotlight Rameses _____ World: Natural Species: Lion Gender: Male Alignment: Lawful Neutral Region: Savannah / Desert Saying: "Giving orders you know won't be obeyed is one of the fastest ways to destroy your own authority." _____ ➤ Rameses is the emperor of a large pride of lions in the desert / savannah region. He rules alongside his favorite mate Aurelia, who doubles as his greatest friend and adviser. ➤ He fought tooth and claw to rise to power, and won't hesitate to secure his rule with violence. Despite his fearsome reputation, he isn't unnecessarily cruel and judges with a sharp whit instead of simple brutality. ➤ His aggressive approach to trespassers means all nearby packs and clans are aware of and respect his borders. Newcomers or travelers must announce themselves and their intentions to the pride upon arrival. ➤ His scars are old, as no opponent has been able to mark him in years. ➤ He has many lionesses in his pride and many, many children.

NPC Spotlight Aurelia _____ World: Natural Species: Lion Gender: Female Alignment: Lawful Neutral Region: Savannah / Desert Saying: "Never did the world make a queen of a girl who wasn’t willing to take charge." _____ ➤ Aurelia is the favorite mate of pride emperor Ramses. She was promised to him at a young age, and while they had a rocky start, the past several years have been the best for their union. ➤ Ramses's nickname for her is "My Elephant" because she has large ears and never lets him forget anything. ➤ Even though she rarely needs to fight, Aurelia is a deadly opponent in combat. ➤ She has a crippling fear of water due to a flash flood incident a local wolf pack rescued her from. ➤ As a younger lioness she was power-hungry and even war-mongering, but with age and wisdom she has come to value peace and stability. However, she still credits earlier wars with the luxurious life she gets to live as empress. ➤ She is fiercely protective of her cubs. Do Not Touch!

The Mythic World allows for a wide range of design options. When creating a mythic character you may either select a mythical creature from a list or create an entirely new creature. Mythic creatures take the base design of a real-world animal and make fantasy changes to their design... like adding wings or horns!

Welcome to the mythic world of The Wild Realm! While the first map released was realistic and natural, this one gets to be fantastical and mysterious. It's got everything... giant skeletons, cascading waterfalls, world trees, floating islands, active volcanoes, and a lot more. We hope you enjoy!

The Natural World is populated by realistic animals that exist in the wild. They must use a naturalistic color palette and realistic wild-type markings for their species. They cannot have magical or supernatural powers but can still talk, emote, and otherwise clearly communicate between species (like, for example, in the jungle book or the lion king). 

We’re pleased to release this comprehensive natural world map for The Wild Realm project! It has over 24 hours of work put into it over the past couple weeks, so we hope everyone zooms in to appreciate the details. ;)
