what are you looking forward to right now?

i juuuust had a ton of fun stuff happen so ive got some time to wait before anything too fun happens again, but im excited for my local pride parade at the end of the month!! ive celebrated pride since i was young, so im always looking forward to it every year as part of my yearly traditions. after that is artfight which im always hyped for, and im hoping to be more motivated and less art blocked this year, haha.

Are you musical? Play any instruments or sing? Would you ever perform for an audience?

id say yes! i played violin and marimba/xlyophone in elementary and middle school and stopped being apart of any orchestras or bands in high school but i miss it some days... i own my violin and sometimes i think about picking it back up as a hobby but it needs tuning badly and i dont trust myself to do it properly these days haha.. maybe one day tho!! i have performed in groups before and would definitely do so again with some practice!! theres such a rush from performance, between that and acting i definitely miss it as an adult

Write, type, or speak?

speaking > typing > writing. speaking wins by a long shot, i prefer it so heavily in casual settings but even more professional ones. i tend to fumble my words a lot in situations where im comfortable with people, which can definitely be annoying, but i like the versatility of tone and visual cues in speaking that gets utterly lost in other forms of communication. it also causes the least amount of pain in excess lol. my dominant wrist has been killing me lately but i need it for everything. i like typing more than writing probably just cause i do it more often, but i like how much faster it is in general, but also for correcting mistakes. i prefer typing on computers wayyyy more than phones also (waited to respond to this so it could be on my computer haha) and writing is nice but i dont use it to communicate very often, and i dont like keeping a journal very much, though i want to start again. writing physically tends to make me paranoid about other people reading it, so i avoid it for personal reasons, and then i just dont have much to write so i barely do it :( i do wanna try to get over the paranoia tho!!

favorite time of day and why?

although ive been sleeping earlier these days, im a total night owl. Nighttime is the best time for me! I like blue hour and midnight the most! Blue hour is more practical in terms of being a little less tired and being able to actually go out and do stuff, but i like the pure darkness and quiet of midnight. I like darkness and cold over bright and warm times of day, so night is definitely where its at

do you believe in luck and superstition? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any lucky rules?

I believe in luck in general, but i only really follow one superstition; the one of spilling salt and needing to toss some over your left shoulder. Not really sure why that one, but i definitely follow it. I don't carry any lucky items but ive definitely thought about buying some and carrying them around, but just haven't really run into many. Not quite sure that it counts, but i grew up with dreamcatchers a lot also! My mom has friends in the midwest who would occasionally gift her some local ones, and i believe in them and kept using them until i moved out of my moms house. Id honestly love to use them again but its not really been a priority and id want to make sure they were ethically made n sold n such. but yeah!
