I know I have been MIA for over a year, but I am desperate to reach out! I recently rescued a puppy from a meat market in South Korea. Almost immediately she was diagnosed with Parvo and Corona viruses. Her darling self is struggling to conquer the nasty battle and we could really use your support!

This shall be my last tumblr post ever and I will tell you exactly why. It has been a long time since I read a post by anyone in which I felt was genuine and unmasked. A true reflection of themselves, never, always a one click wonder edit towards a perfection that is and will never be real. Each word is calculated for an audience. Each reblog a “what shall heighten my sense of disconnect.” “How many photos of high fashion until I convince them I’m worthy?” My dashboard reeks desperation for affection and approval, conformity in the most dangerous and ignorant form. A frantic effort to prove a uniqueness and bravery that doesn’t exist. People convincing themselves they’re weird in the most normal sense. When do we reach a maturity that humbles us into a unity? Perhaps I follow the wrong blogs, perhaps I catch my dash at her worst moments, but I have known perfectly wonderful people turn sour by the pressure of this website; the enlightenment of this website; the personality imposed upon by this website. The day I wondered who you were, was the day I realized I must have been lost in it too. So adieu, for good adieu.

I sincerely hope that someday selves are realized. The extortion of an opinion as madly protested as economics. That living can be more valuable than the correct angle of a photo. I hope that we read books and experience things that form our words and assure our sight rather than the photos and world reviews at our manicured fingertips.
