Danny why are ya lookin at me like that?

this is my most recent ep (just put it out a few minutes ago actually), titled adolescence. this one has a bit of a concept behind it: the growth and different genres in it represent growing in adolescence, yet by the end of it when your adult your still not happy. It starts off with “A Soundtrack To Boogie To”, which is the vibes from when you in the womb. “Porno Music” is about the high energyness of toddlers thru early preteens (kinda weird title for it but it does sound like a 1970s porno soundtrack). “(Take Me Back) 1969″ is basically preteens and how they dream of something prettier and an escape from this world especially now (not just preteens do that but it just fit ok) and also theres still a bit of innocence in preteens so its not overly dark yet but theres some darkness there within the stonery vibe. “Domino” is early teens aka middle school years where you just have to boogie along and hope for the best of honestly the worst years of your life. “Driving in the Dark” is like high school. Depression is very common among high schoolers so I channeled that in there, and the title creates the image of a teen driving back from a late night of exams or something in the rain. “One More Cup of Coffee” is a bob Dylan cover and I used that to my advantage because it represents adulthood, specifically reminiscing about the past and wondering why you’re not happy.

my new album is out on soundcloud, its ok but like not great cuz its my music and im not a great musician but its a good album nonetheless and im proud of it for some reason. “gay indie” is the main genre and its mostly instrumental cuz my vocals ruin the vibe usually/this is largely made up of improvised jam riffs.
