Hannible Season 2 Episode 4

*SPOILERS* So i have just finished re-watching episode four of season two and why doesnt Beverly just leave Hannibles house when she finds the evidence?!?!?! Its so tense and I just want her to get out before Hannible comes home and then bam she turns around to see him. Its so frustrating because she is so cool and i didnt want her to die and eugh why would they kill her off like that? She was an incredible character who just stood up for Will even though she didnt fully believe him!
