Self-conscious, anxious, self-hating giants are okay I guess. But what about calm, confident, easygoing giants? The kind that know what they’re capable of and choose to be good. The kind that aren’t easily angered, absorb an insult with a shrug, joke to lighten the mood. Warm, friendly giants that make it very difficult to fear or even dislike them.

Giant playfully cooing over a tiny with condescension laced in their tone, before breaking character and bursting into a fit of laughter. Or even just a snort or giggle. Pinching the tiny’s arm between their fingers, face all serious and locked onto them. “Oh, aren’t you just the cutest little thing… so teeny tiny… such itty bitty little arms, awww…” and then immediately breaking into a grin and laughing. The tiny can feel the vibration of it. The giant is unable to hold up their façade despite the sentiment being true. Near the end of their cooing phrase of endearment, the corners of their lips twitch as they try holding their laugh back, and inevitably fail. Needing a second to catch their breath before scooping the tiny up. “But you are super cute.”

Tiny is picked up via thumb and forefinger and as they’re suddenly lifted THEIR LEGS GIVE A FEW LITTLE REFLEXIVE KICKS AT THE SHOCK OF BEING TAKEN AWAY FROM THE GROUND. The giant chuckles in response and sets them wherever they intended to put them to begin with.
