Stafou Saved Me

June 1st, Morning

This story was pre-Barney, Michelle, or Charlotte. This was before I had any real headcanons about them. This was just me, after a long time of falling out of the habit of writing, sitting down and actually getting some words on paper.

I was so nervous to post this, and wasn’t even sure if I should. I didn’t know if I was ever going to post another piece, but now a year later I am thousands and thousands of words deep in Stanfou and I can’t seem to stop, whether people read it or not.

This one was less than 700 words, but it always stands out to me. It was only a fluff bit, just a calm morning with Stanley making breakfast for his man. I like to think my writing has improved and developed these past twelve months, and there is no subject I would have rather practiced with.

El, the freckles are adorable and his expression!!!! Just the perfect picture of confidence~ Exactly how I'd picture Lefou in the summer time.

Tangled AU where LeFou is Rapunzel, Gaston is Mother Gothel, and Stanley is Eugene. Bonus if LeFou doesn’t have Rapunzel-length hair, just a maaaajor jewfro. Anyway, he’s mega creative and smart and has a million little songs that make his hair glow blond but he has no idea why, just that he lives with this super hot dude who looks after him and maybe loves him??? He doesn’t know what love is. And one day this really badass girl shows up in his tower so obviously he smashes that motherfucker in the face with a frying pan and takes his crown. Turns out it’s a guy just trying to hide from the authorities. He’s cute. He’s pretty cute.

Stanley agrees to take LeFou outside as long as he doesn’t smack him with a frying pan again and gives the jewels back, so they have an adventure and kick some ass etc. LeFou does a lot of passionate singing and basically just being a Disney prince while Stanley trails around after him falling in love. Plus, Tom and Dick as Stanley’s kind-of-accomplices that he betrays. Little kids desperately trying to plait LeFou’s hair, but just tying it in a massy, fluffy ponytail. Stanley rescuing LeFou from Gaston and getting stabbed. Y'know, all the light, fluffy stuff.

Frozen AU because for some reason I have a desperation for LeFou to sing ‘For the First Time in Forever’ literally no other reason 'cause it makes ZERO sense. But baby Adam who can turn into a beast whenever he wants, playing with castle staffs’ son LeFou in the middle of the night. Accidentally knocks him out/cuts his face you know how it goes, they go to see the enchantress to help him. Some sort of 'have a tea party with me!’ version of Do you wanna build a snowman. Lots of staff leave because they’re scared, parents die (multiple parents? Idk, something). Basically both kids are alone now, LeFou works at the castle.

They throw a party for the coronation, LeFou meets Gaston who proposes, Adam turns into a beast in front of everyone then runs away. Worried about his childhood bro LeFou goes after him, but he’s a lil spoilt and lil not-so-fond-at-all of dirt and isn’t doing a good job. He meets Stanley, who has a fancy horse and works in the mountains and was raised by the enchantress. Adventure etc. they find Adam, he cute LeFou, now he’s slowly bleeding to death. I feel like they should pick up Belle somewhere on this journey.

Enchantress does her true love bullshit, they go to see Gaston who screws everyone over and leaves LeFou to die, we’re not having any familiar love here, ma boy’s gotta kiss Stanley to save his ass. Adam calms down and controls the beast thing (Belle does something somewhere in here, idk what). LeFou kisses his actual true love. Gaston is banished. Anyway, Stanley picking LeFou up and hugging him 'cause he gave him a fancy cart is legit.

Hey everyone!

Josh Gad’s birthday is in two days. As many of you know, he grew up in Florida, and was personally affected by the shooting last week as the child of a family friend of his lost their life. He has been very vocal about his support for March for our Lives, a protest for gun control in response to this shooting.

So I was thinking that as a birthday project from us fans to Josh, we could all try to pool some money and make a donation in his name. It doesn’t have to be earth-shattering amounts of money, but just something.

This is a late Valentine’s Day gift for @ginnyweatherby who is the absolute light of my life, inspiring me with he sweet stories and her great headcanons. All of these fics are based on her stories, so I highly recommend checking them. The way she details love in her story - not just the love between Stanley and Lefou but between father and children - is amazing and obviously is the source for each of these little ficlets.
