Mal's Gilmore Girls rewatch: A Family Matter 4.12

dan & swampy saying the upcoming halloween episode will be the most cursed episode yet is just kind of making me roll my eyes, like maybe that would hit better if there weren't already so many creepy moments in season 5. there will probably be way more body horror and weird disturbing shit, and getting that after candace suit 1 & 2 and mantis fact and mothman doof and vendpocalypse and everything in the nightmare-inator and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting rn, like it was way too much as it is and now we're adding even more? and there are already 8 halloween episodes in the show! I love halloween but this is NOT needed. stuff like night of the living pharmacists had more of an impact because it was especially out of the ordinary for the show. there was nothing else like it until vendpocalypse ripped it off. and when so much horror is crammed into one season it's overwhelming. I do like when pnf is weird but I like it when it's something special. and I also like when it's weird in a fun quirky way, not so much with body horror, which is just gross imo. meanwhile the casual viewers see clips of like beatrice the candace suit eating jeremy and they think it's some fetish thing. why does pnf have to have so much horror anyway? is this just what the show is like now? anyway of course I'll watch it but I can't say I'm looking forward to it as much as I could be
