The last of my current batch of Roll for Doodle episodes. I really enjoyed working on this one because I've always had a soft spot for Nancy Drew. I used to read the books a ton as a kid until our local library stopped stocking them. I've since begun collecting some of them, though this piece was specifically made in reference to the Her Interactive game (an original story based on the ND brand rather than on one of the original books). A couple people, despite my best attempts still have funky looking eyes (I'm looking at you Ned and George), but I can accept that.

Even though I still haven’t finished MID and have major reservations about another new Nancy Drew entry that’s along those same lines, I’m still excited they seem to ACTUALLY be working on a new game.

Also, I hope they plan on giving PR/early release content to the big names playing the games, like Joseph Birdsong and Gab Smolders (and honestly a ton of other cool people!). It would be extremely good promo especially because I honestly feel like (as I had hoped/predicted) these people revisiting the games on twitch has really revitalized interest in the games.

Jellyfish Specimen Sandwich

Realized I hadn't seen enough art of the god-tier sandwich you can make in Danger on Deception Island and decided to be the change I wanted to see in the world.

I'm making a spread of inventory items from DDI and decided to start with the sandwich you can make at the start of the game. More items to follow, and possibly more spreads. I'm thinking at least SHA and CAR. What would be your favorite inventory spread to see?

I've been working on a new game for the past three months, and I'm super excited to get feedback from the clue crew on the FREE demo version! If you liked decoding the journal in Ransom of the Seven Ships, I think you'll like this game!

Prose & Codes invites you to explore the wonderful world of books through deceptively simple substitution ciphers. The demo includes 49 encoded excerpts from literary classics across 7 unique genres (including mystery novels)!

Like what you decoded? You can add excerpts to your favorites and read spoiler-free synopses--plus, every single book featured in the game can be read online COMPLETELY FREE, direct links included!

This is a demo/beta version of the game for Windows (Mac demo coming soon), and there's a development list on the itch.io page that goes over some of the improvements that will be made for the final version. However, I'm all ears for any other improvements you think I should make!

When the game is complete and ready to sell, a portion of all proceeds will go to Project Gutenburg, an amazing online library of free ebooks!
