Thinking about how Maul spends so much time just trying to make friends and then being either told "no, go away" or forced to watch his new friends die. He genuinely cares about the people he's working with; he's upset when they get hurt or die, he's out here acting as a living shield between them and danger, and it always ends terribly for everyone.
