Check out Etienne Sin’s Punk Goes Crunk cover of Blessings, originally by Big Sean ft. Drake and Kanye West! Let us know what you think.
From the 53rd newsletter:
I feel blessed. Blessed to have fans, such as yourself (you handsome devil you), who listen and support everything I do. For that I sincerely thank you. It was a tough one to cover, I’ll admit, it’s littered with quick vocals for almost 5 minutes straight. I had to scream most them, so it sounds heavy and technical as all hell. Shoutouts to King Blood for the mix and master as well as Fawllen Studios for the video shooting!

What’s up everyone! I feel great! Usually, I’m a positive guy to begin with, always looking at the bright side of things but as of recently, I’ve been feeling way more positive than usual. I’ve been getting a lot done in my personal life as well as in the music business. The weather has also been beautiful. It already feels like summer to me!
Speaking of summer, I’ve got to confess something kind of crazy. As the Springtime comes to a close next month, I’ve come to the realization that there is a huge, HUGE problem here. NO ONE HAS ANY SIN CIRCLE APPAREL SUMMER GEAR! *gasps*
Ok, well maybe it’s not life or death crazy (it really is), but it’s still a problem. It’s an issue that I have to fix immediately, so I’ve been getting my ass to the drawing board to whip up a solution. The good news is that I’ll be able to launch an official 2015 Sin Circle Apparel Summer Line by next month! By the next newsletter, I’ll have some mock-up designs and maybe some pre-orders so you guys can get your awesome Sin Circle Apparel Merch just in time for the summertime fun.
For those of you who don’t already know, Sin Circle Apparel is my clothing line in which we sell all types of merchandise. The catch? Well, it’s all CUSTOM AND HANDMADE. Here in New York, we have a small printing studio and design shop that we utilize to handcraft every piece of apparel that gets shipped out. The best part is that, between my small team and me, we do everything from the design of the shirt, to the physical printing, to shipping it to you guys. We do a lot of the backbreaking work to create this limited gear, but every second is worth it if it’s for our fans and supporters. Oh and when I say “limited,” I really mean it! Since we don’t have any automated presses, we can only make a certain amount of items. Since they are hand printed, no two shirts are the same, some being one of a kind! With this launch, I’ll also have a video showing you guys how it’s all done.
I’d like to confess another thing, this is something I’ve been wanting to explain for a long time. I’d officially like to introduce you to a new Etienne Sin. What the hell does that mean? Well, you’ve heard me talk about Heavy Trap for a few months now; however, before I explain that, let me give you a brief backstory:
For the last couple of years, say since 2012, I’ve been a bit disappointed in the music scene. Every time I went into the studio for a new record, I got happy about the music, but I didn’t get excited. It was temporary bliss. I didn’t jump for joy or anything. For me, everything has been stale, boring, and literally just recycled music. When almost every band literally sounds like the top 10 popular bands in the scene for the past 5 years, you get tired. I honestly just got exhausted with it all. So I had to think of a way regarding how to avoid this dilemma from happening to me and my music. The signs of it happening were already starting to show in my music and I felt myself at the beginning of a long spiral down into a musical depression. I realized I had to not only think outside of the box, but also get into a whole new box entirely. In order to be the innovative and ambitious soul that I am, I had to get out of the “Metal genre” and incinerate it. Stay with me here, I know that sounds like a terrible thing to do. I took a hard look at what actually got me into the music scene in the first place, I had to return back to when I was just a kid.
Being a New Yorker, Hip-Hop permeates every level of society here. You literally have to hide from it if you’re not a fan. When I was a kid, I remember listening to artists like DMX and Wu-Tang Clan. I was only 8 years old when I bought DMX’s first release. I was just starting to learn how to play the damn piano and I was listening to hardcore gangsta rap out of Yonkers, NY. One of those “WTF” moments I’m sure, but nonetheless, this was the first album that I physically wanted and actually bought for my enjoyment. I remember the raw aggression in the sound and I blame DMX to this day for getting me addicted to aggressive and hard music.
Fast forward to 2014, last year, I finally put it all together. I invented Heavy Trap music, a style that combines modern Hip-Hop and Trap music with the Metal of today’s generation. It takes Hip-Hop hooks, the bravado and lyrical aggression of Trap music, the brutal instrumentation of modern Metal, and a dash of R&B vocal styling and whips them all together into a damn near magical experience. Metal and Hip Hop have crossed paths beautifully in the past (Rage Against The Machine or Body Count, anyone?) and I plan to be the next to follow in that suit. Now, I know it’s not going to be for everyone. For those looking for the old Etienne Sin, you can just google that guy, he’s out there somewhere. There will always be plenty of rock and metal bands for you guys on TSCR as well, but for myself, I feel good about Heavy Trap. So much so that I’m inclined to say that it will be the next hottest thing in the scene. Not to sound arrogant or anything, but in a field where there are all black and white cows, the purple one will stand out. I’m 1000% confident and committed to this new music style because it’s got me excited on both an artistic level and a personal one. It brings me back to my roots and what got me excited about music in the first place.
A new Etienne Sin means a brand new style, a focused campaign, and a worthy adversary to all haters out there. I have 9 new singles coupled with their own music videos planned and ready to go for these next few months alone, so I’m ready to be the first one to own this style. As a side note, do remember that I am STILL a producer! 25% of what I do is production from bands across the nation and most of those bands are of the Post-Hardcore/Metalcore breed, so if you’re worried that “Metal Etienne” is dead, fear not! I’ll pop up in those type of songs frequently as a guest vocalist. As a producer, my production and instrumentation work will be featured through these bands both far and wide.
Enough about me, let’s talk about YOU! Yeah YOU. Don’t forget about our TSCR Tour Contest, where you can vote on The Sin Circle Records artists coming to YOUR TOWN to play a show! Artists like Desdemona, Live Like Glass, Hysterium, and of course, Etienne Sin, will all be on the bill to make it happen! Go to

We are happy to introduce a new band to The Sin Circle Records family!
TSCR welcomes Hysterium to our ranks! Hysterium is a brand new Rock/Metal band from our home area, Long Island, New York. Fronted by the young and talented, Alexa Lylth, they have big dreams and goals with The Sin Circle Records, and we cannot wait to work with them.
Want to get a sneak peak into what you can expect from them? Ariana Grande anyone? CLICK HERE to see this weeks cover song. Etienne Sin covered “Break Free” by Ariana Grande alongside Alexa Lylth from Hysterium and they had a blast during recording. The Warped Tour Aftermath
The long awaited collaboration with Telle Smith
I hate seeing artists play it safe
Time for a facelift
The Sin Circle Records first official merch!
Touring in 6 days!
Hello all! When I came back from Warped Tour with The Sin Circle Records, I slept for 5 days straight. I'm exaggerating of course, but what I call "The Warped Tour Aftermath" had me on my ass for almost 2 weeks. Getting less than 5 hours of sleep every day, driving hours on end, and having to hand print all of the merchandise really took a toll on me. If there is one thing I hate, it's losing sleep. It's honestly really hard to do Warped Tour, especially if you have a small team. I'm complaining, I know, but all the positive vibes definitely outweigh the negatives. It was an experience like no other, seeing 10,000 people per day (probably more) and getting the chance to meet numerous new people is something that's worth losing sleep over. Overall, I'd love to do it again if the opportunity comes knocking. It was a pleasure to meet everyone on the road!
To get into the juicy stuff: I know thousands of kids have been waiting for my next original song. Even more supporters have been asking about the long awaited collaboration with Telle Smith, the front man for The Word Alive. I've been insanely busy with The Sin Circle Records that I almost forgot about my own projects! During Warped Tour, I was able to catch up with Telle and we briefly spoke about the project that we did all those months ago. The good news is, The Sin Circle Records is finally ready and able to release this epic song for all of you who have waited so long. Thank you for being patient!
The song is called "Demons In Disguise," and it deals with the idea of an everlasting empire and overcoming all odds. During the recording and writing process, Telle and I went back and forth with different ideas for the song, but finally settled on something that relates to both of our careers. The word "Empire" represents my business, The Sin Circle Brand, and all of our efforts to create a united empire of independent music that stands separate from the rest. In Telle's respect, the title "Empire" was his first release under his band, The Word Alive.

Etienne Sin has big plans for the fall. As a musician and artist, I'm constantly trying to push boundaries. I hate seeing artists who play it safe. Towards the end of August, I'll be releasing an official date for the release of both of my upcoming EP's, "The Tactician" and "Breed Venom." Both of these records have the attitude to "rip your face off,' so to speak. The release on both of these will definitely be sometime this fall and I will absolutely have tons of singles for you guys starting September. I'll also have a special Pre-Order period with a ton of bonuses for everyone. I've been sitting on some really good music and there is definitely something for everyone this time around. That's all I'll say for now, but stay with me until the fall and I'll be sure to bring the noise!
Speaking of big plans, we know our websites look a little "dated." We've been around for quite some time now, so it's definitely time for a facelift for our web pages. We've launched a small team of elite designers to perform the operation. By elite designers, I mean myself and my girlfriend Oliwia. Don't worry though, she's an expert at minimalistic design and she's already made The Sin Circle Brand's website look amazing. Don't believe me? Click here to see the new face of The Sin Circle! We'll be doing it to etiennesin.com as well, but that's a conquest for another time.
Not to bombard you with too much information at once, but we have so much going on, it makes it difficult NOT to tell you all of it! I'd like to introduce our new merchandise line for this summer! It's a ton of new gear designed by my girlfriend and elite designer Oliwia; AND it's The Sin Circle Records first official merch! So if you like our artists and want to rep the label, check out the new gear at Sin Circle Apparel by clicking here!
I just realized that I'm touring in 6 days! I've been planning an epic tour called "Warriors Of The North East Tour" for the past 4 months now and it's only 6 days away! That means, for the next few days, I'm assembling my forces for rehearsal. I'm really excited to get out on the road again to perform and meet all of the people who dig what I do. If you'd like to see the tour schedule, just visit my facebook page RIGHT HERE. Well, I'm off to get as much sleep as I can. I would sleep for another 5 days straight if I could, because when tour life starts, I know I'm going to need it. I'll send all of you guys another newsletter while I'm on the road!
