“Partially of the fae?” His interest is perked at this, his head cants to the side slightly. “I’ve seldom met those that are half-lings. You’d be one in several.”

“There are not many of us, no. I get the impression we are not terribly well-liked by either side.” Miranda doesn’t usually talk personal politics, but she has the feeling Nuada will have his own stand on the subject. 

At this, Nuada could nearly scoff, though a small twitch in the corner of his lips was evident, a small smirk forming. "I am liked well enough by my own people after a series of events... As for the humans I care not for them or the opinions they have among themselves. They are not a factor to me."

Looking over the woman, Nuada tilts his head back, chin up slightly. “You are not of .. human nature — are you?”

“Mostly not.” She arches an eyebrow. “And I would venture that you are not either.”

“You would venture correctly,” he nods before he straightens up his stance. “Nuada Silverlance, Prince of Bethmoora. And what of your name?”

After a pause, she crosses a hand over her chest and bows her head. “Miranda Haerelien Irina Konstantinova, your highness.”

It’s then that he nods his head to her respectfully. “Miranda.. I am curious as to what you truly are,” his eyes narrow, looking her over with a bout of inquiry.
