There's an itch at his back that Ilya hasn't been able to get at. It's been a bother since he dressed for the funeral service and felt it start up between his shoulder blades. I would drop everything and run to you at a moment’s notice with no hesitation. I see what I am to you and you are that to me. Ilya’s face softens, eyes going watery and vulnerable as they track Shane’s expression. He looks feral and imposing, all mussed-up hair and bulging muscles and sweaty skin. Like a king laying claim to the spoils of war. The thing inside of Shane turns over in supplication, spurring him on impatiently. He rolls his hips again in invitation, delighting in the feeling of Ilya filling him up. “But right now works, too.”

i'm so sorry this took me so long. i kinda lost my inspiration for writing for a bit, but then the pope told us we should write porn and i simply could not ignore him.

But Shane is not a sun or a star. Shane is the sky itself. Vast and deep, calmly beautiful and punctuated with pockets of light, open and unexplored, but only to those who dare. He is a man of both simplicity and multitudes. His is a celestial body, and Ilya thinks that maybe it's okay that he isn't quite sure how to fully navigate it anymore. What's left, what is, what will always be is a simple fact: Shane is a home made human, and Ilya wants to live there eternally.

But in all things, Shane is steady. This is a trait that Ilya always found himself circling back to. Shane is all things bright and beautiful in the universe. He is the greatest unknown that Ilya would gladly explore forever, given the chance. Shane is also completely, utterly, soul-crushingly determined to ignore this fact.
