No, you don't have to like it. Or Nolan as a person (odd, but pop off). Or Lupita as an actress for a solid reason if you have one. Nor do you have to like the canon related inaccuracies.
But calling that beautiful woman a "gorilla" is not expressing distaste for a casting choice - it's just purely being racist.
Be mad that it's Nolan if you really have to. Be mad that Greek culture isn't honoured how you think it should be, that it isn't accurate - I get why you'd be pissed at cultural fuck-ups.
But being this mad at a black woman, when you weren't so mad at white women in a black woman's role shows only one thing : you're racist.
