TWEWY is the most hilariously constructed game ever for having an obvious red herring character who immediately acts evil and reacts to accusations of murdering the protagonist (he’s better now) by giggling and twirling his hair like, “Teehee, okay, what if I did?” But he learns the power of friendship, and eventually it’s revealed that someone ELSE killed the protagonist and wants to do it again, so the red herring sacrifices himself.
The game ends with the reveal that the red herring character is a) alive b) the one who killed the protagonist for real and c) about to kill the protagonist again (he succeeds) (he’s better now). Basically, he’s even worse than you thought he was before. And also he learns the power of friendship for real.
