“Patrick is a pretty nice name,” Pan said with a smile, “It sounds all mature and prince-like you know? Like a story from a book you know?”
“Give me some of them,” Pan grabbed a couple of the books off of him, feeling sorry for the kid. “They’re pretty heavy if you carry them all by yourselves.”
“The name is… and you have to promise to keep this a secret till your dying days okay?” She looked around, to make sure no one was listening, “It’s… Panchali.”
It’s not as if Pan hated her name, in fact she adored her name. The problem was everyone else just looked at her funny, whenever she mentions her real name. And it wasn’t even that kind of mocking funny look. It was more of, hey she has a weird name, but you can’t say it’s funny so don’t look at her that way, and it all ends up being a curious as well as pitying?
Sometimes, that’s even more offensive.
"Well gosh," Peter reddens slightly, "nobody's put it that way." A prince eh? Heh. Not bad. Not bad at all. But then again.. she said "mature" Prince and it made PT think of Prince Charles' sizeable ears; not the kind that rides a fiery steed and wields a magical sword.
He beamed at Panchali's name though. "Why are you keeping that name a secret!" he smiled widely. "Panchali is such an interesting name, I wish I can swap with you! No kidding! I've once thought Patrick was such a common name, when I was younger, I would write Scissorbrook or Machismopirate in my kindergarten stuff. Well.. "attempt" was more like it. Too many vowels, you know? So... I guess that's another reason for P.T." he laughed.
Both Panchali and PT walked along the quiet road, with him following Panchali's lead. After a while of chatting, PT began to realize that the houses were starting to look awfully familiar.
*Muttering* I’m not being rude.. Who’s being rude. I’m not. Hmp. Well, hey he’s got a, uhm a nice place and nice—he’s got Zombieland! I like that movie. *Clears throat* I guess I’ll stay. Yeah. I guess I’ll be the most not rudest boy around here. Uh huh. That’s what I’ll do. Just the perfect guest—Oh hey! Chips!
-triumphant- That’s much better. Nothing like a romantic comedy about zombies and chips to make you act like an angel, eh? -grin-
Well haruuumpph... *plops in a couch while munching on the chips* So about that movie? Let's watch one now! I'll pick one while the host is away! *mischievous laugh*

I thought it would be good to switch things up and hang out with someone other than just us! -smiles and leans in, hissing a whisper- Don’t be rude, Pat.
*Muttering* I'm not being rude.. Who's being rude. I'm not. Hmp. Well, hey he's got a, uhm a nice place and nice--he's got Zombieland! I like that movie. *Clears throat* I guess I'll stay. Yeah. I guess I'll be the most not rudest boy around here. Uh huh. That's what I'll do. Just the perfect guest--Oh hey! Chips!
I always noticed you and PT arguing about something. Do I sound creepy? Well I gotta say, you two are a riot! -grins-
Conjoined with five hips? Wow, that would be like a human centipede. Oh, don’t watch that movie. It’s creepy.
Haha, not creepy at all! Our friendship is a good 20% bickering. But I wouldn’t have it another way. Especially if other people are more amused than annoyed by it.
I’ll keep that in mind. I haven’t watched a movie rated over PG-13 in years, and I try to stay away from the creepy ones. I’m frightened easily.
Wendy, when you said movie, I didn't know Bennett was invited.. *narrows eyes*
KEEP CAMLM AND PLAY VIDEO GAMES WITH BEMO!!! by ~KINGLUMPY
Patrick Allison Norman, I really am going to hit you! Why do you insist on keeping those ridiculous photos? I had a fun story that John and I came up with to tell you later but now all you’re getting is Chapter 16 of our Biology books!
Awww... Weeeends *whine* Don't do this to meee~! *whine* I'm sorreeeey! *dragging out the syllables*
And that name.. ugh.

I think I may be coming down with something.
Something nice would be perfectly lovely, thank you. But something nice better not involve a camera because I look absolutely horrid and I will hit you despite your pleading. *sticks tongue out*
I still think your notion that studying links directly to illness is ridiculous. But you might actually be right this time. Might.
You know I am! Studying is stressful. We're graduating and you went up and added those "smart-people" classes to your workload *snort*. Of course you'll get sick. It's the *tiny bugs in the old books that irritate your sinuses. That's scientific fact!
Also...
I think I may be coming down with something.
I’m sneezing so much that it’s starting to become embarrassing.
Wait for me. I'll bring a camera and catch you mid-sneeze! *evil grin*
..I'm kidding (dont hit me)! It's all that studying, Wends. You should take care of yourself more! Want me to bring you something nice?
“AHA!” the young boy exclaimed, flipping one of her books open. Sufficiently shocking her, and then, as his ears turned red at apparently finding nothing that he was looking for, making her giggle too.
“Nice to meet you, PT” she replied offering her free hand for a shake, “Now is that your full name? Cause, you see, mine’s a nickname too!”
“I’ll tell you mine, if you tell me yours,” she said, lowering her voice in a conspiring whisper.
When he offered to walk her home, she found it so endearing that of course she had to say yes. Her books were heavy after all, and she could use some help.
"I.. uh.." PT weighed the possibilities. Patrick is such a weird name for him. He shunned it off ever since his great great aunt Ludmilla mistook his nickname "Pat" as "Patricia" and started calling him that ever since. He was five then. He regretted most of his mother's hippie stage.
..But then again, what are the chances of meeting the pretty stranger again? And he gotta admit, he was dead curious to find out her name as well. He didn't really have a particular reason why.. It was just his nature.
PT decided there was no harm. "Well, my real name's Patrick." he said, almost at a whisper. "But only my closest friends call me that." he grinned. He hoisted the books on his arm and prepared for the journey. PT hoped the woman's house will be less than a hundred steps off. He decided it would be ungentlemanly to faint.
Taking my brother's to the zoo today!
Oh, please do! Take your time. I can handle John and Michael by myself, I just thought you would like to see the crocodiles!
Definitely! I think I may have even established a connection with some of them! They're fascinating. Although.. I do feel mighty bad for the animals caged like that. You don't suppose we can fiddle around with the locks a bit, hm? Nah, I kid, I kid!

Fly to Neverland with me
“Oh my gosh!” Panchali exclaimed as she remembers her papers flying all over the street. She stood up trying to catch all of them.
“I’m so sorry for bumping into you though,” she said as she quickly gathers her things, “I’m glad you’re okay.
She peered at him. He seemed quite young, must still be in highschool by the looks of him. She couldn’t quite put her finger on it, but he seemed like the type of guy who would grow up and break a few hearts in the future.
She smiled, reminded of another guy that could break hearts.
“I’m Pan by the way, what’s you name?”
PT heaved the three heavy books from the pavement and wondered how the young woman could carry them over an extended period of time. He peered through them. They were hard-bound and plain, with thick covers showing gold lettering fading from old age. Must she carry them around? Maybe these were spellbooks and she was an age old witch!
The woman smiled and introduced herself.
"Hmm.. To pleasant to be a witch." he blushed slightly.
Or maybe!
Maybe if PT happened to open the books, he will undoubtedly find it hollowed and cut-out, a tommy gun stashed in between the pages. That's why the books are so heavy! For the woman is in fact, Britain's number one Spy: Code named "Tigerlily", and she is infiltrating the town for a Russian Drug Syndicate that have hoisted themselves in their peaceful town! (*insert Panchali in skin-tight leather catsuit*)
"AHA!" he cried, flipping over one of the books. There was no gun, but some miniscule text in a serif font. There was a picture of a doctor in one of the pages and a bold text said "Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD): Signs and Symptoms"
PT's ears grew red. "I-- I'm PT. You can call me.. uh.. PT." he said awkwardly. "Why don't I walk you home, Miss? Your books are awfully bulky."
It was the least he can do, PT decided, after subjecting the poor woman into his wild train of thought.
