blanc deciding not to give a fuck that jud has in fact killed someone in the past is so funny to me. he's like yes you are the #1 murder suspect and this case is impossible unless i for a second entertain that you did it and everyone keeps telling me you've killed someone and waiting for my reaction but i just kinda shrug and cover for you even as you lie to me and yell at me and tell me about the hate in your heart because our souls danced together in that church for a tiny moment and i know what i know and what i know is that your soul is innocent. and what blanc decides is the truth goes so the narrative is like yep mhm spot on as always mr superhero detective. your killer priest is innocent.
