Magick Tip: Symbols gain power through repeated use. This is true especially for sigil magicians. With enough belief invested, a symbol can become effective and even potent in magickal workings. Heck, it may even work for non-believers.

Hello!! I'm still relatively new to magic and i want to involve music into my work since it has been a very important thing in my life, have been using it to manifest and i have a belief that the energy, emotions and frequencies of the musicians, instruments and lyrics can be transferred to my magical work, is there anyway to utilize this? and especially using it as a form of divination or fortune telling? it's fine if you don't answer this btw <3
I'm not much of a musician but my advice for this is experiment and see what works. Take notes. Discard what doesn't work. I hope this helps.
Five Elements Protection Spell
I call upon the Five Elements for protection all day.
Air, be with me and protect my mind.
Water, be with me and protect my heart.
Fire, be with me and protect my will.
Earth, be with me and protect my body.
Ether, be with me and protect my whole being.

Magick Tip: A simple daily practice beats a complicated monthly one. What I would suggest for beginners is a daily ritual of banishing once in the morning right after waking up and one in the evening before going to sleep. Some mages meditate for at least ten minutes twice a day. Others do a daily prayer or invocation to their patron deities.
Hell yeah! I'm totally hiring the kid on the right while I drink my lemonade!

OOOOH DO I HAVE SOME FUN STUFF TO TELL YOU!!!
So, in one aspect of traditional magic, prayers were written in water soluble substances on plates to drink or sprinkle in order to treat a person with, what some assumed, was spirit-inflicted illness. The Sixth and Seventh Book of Moses goes into this in depth.
Additionally, from experience, you can pray psalms over water and drink them in order to treat various things.
Therefore, yes, eating the Bible is indeed useful.
That is very interesting! I doubt that literally eating Bibles is safe these days though because of what kind of substances are used in the printing but I'd definitely pray psalms over glasses of water.
Magick Tip: Learn basic meditation before learning advanced rituals. The easiest form of meditation you can do is sit, close your eyes and literally do nothing as long as you can. You can also find free tutorials on meditation everywhere especially on the internet.
Magick Tip: Clean your ritual space before asking spirits to enter it. In fact, cleaning can be a form of banishing if you think about it.
I hope bad things happen to evil people
I Hope Bad Things Happen To Evil People - a sigil created to manifest a most fervent of wishes during this most turbulent of times; for bad things to happen to evil people.
.... If you flip it upside down does it become an "I Hope Good Things Happen To Good People" sigil?
hell no! thats not how it works ahahaha but you can try ofc, whatever happens is on you, not me :3
Magick Tip: Record failures of your magickal operations. They often teach more than successes. Every failure is just a stepping stone to success.

Every time I have a really nice snack like these two doughnuts from Krispy Kreme (my favorite doughnut place), I offer them to my patron deity Sobek (ankh, udja, seneb), leave them alone for a moment and then devour them to absorb Sobek's blessings. Simple acts of unorthodox theurgy should be normalized so it will feel like the gods are always there. It's empowering and comforting.
If those sixty spells were forgotten, how did they get written in this book in the first place?
Magick Tip: Keep a magickal journal, even when "nothing happened." You may never know when the unexpected finally happens. With a magickal journal, at least you're ready.

Creating Sigils based on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs
If you need ideas and suggestions for what kind of sigils to create, consider using Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs as a guide to give you enough ideas to make your own personal grimoire of sigils. You can even use it to get ideas to make your own non-sigil spells. You can also use it as a template for organizing your book of shadows.
Maslow's hierarchy can be surprisingly useful as a map for magical practice because it gives you a way to ask what need am I actually trying to address?
One approach is to treat each level as a "sphere of operation":
1. Physiological Needs 🍞
Health, energy, food, housing, material stability
2. Safety Needs 🛡️
Protection, warding, financial security, overcoming fear
3. Love and Belonging 🤝
Friendship, community, family harmony, finding one's tribe
4. Esteem Needs 👑
Confidence, charisma, reputation, skill development
5. Self-Actualization 🌟
Creativity, life purpose, mastery, spiritual development
6. Self-Transcendence ✨
Communion with the divine, service, mystical experiences
For a magician, this can become a diagnostic tool.
Before casting, ask:
"Which need is this working actually serving?"
For example:
A prosperity sigil might not really be about money. It might be about safety.
A glamour spell might not be about attractiveness. It might be about esteem.
A devotion to your patron deity might not be about obtaining favors. It might be about self-transcendence.
Note: Remember that this is more of a guide than an instruction. I'm just saying that Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs can be used as a map to creating and organizing spells and rituals. I think it's worth experimenting with.
