The professional hater

A few years ago I created this account, I posted stuff about my interest, I was different, I was “weird”, I was “the witty girl”. Now, at the Edge of my 30´s and after therapy, I come back and my first thought is “I remember this, I used to be happy”. But immediately, a new voice in my head tells me “no, back then you weren´t happy, perhaps you were okay, but happy? you weren´t happy girl, you used to feel like shit, waiting for the moment when you could fly, craving for some changes, scared of the awesome and brave things you do now”. And I’m glad I heard that new voice in my head, she´s right, I was okay but I wasn´t happy, because I was hopping the moment when I could fly and seek for my freedom, the momento I could be myself, not the person I thought I had to be to fit into fake groups. I can look back a few years ago and wave to my older self because I am happy now, and my past and my present are in peace for once in a lifetime
