Happy Deltarune tomorrow! Here are some foods I’ve made over the years.

Yesterday we went all in for Metal Meal Meltdown 2025 and made a Baja Blast Pie dupe, giving it a little sprinkle of hyperfixation to make it Deltarune flavoured and turning it into a Battery Acid Pie. We raised $332.31 for St. Jude Play Live in the process, despite the fact we had numerous technical difficulties that led to people not being able to donate for over an hour, and the fact I was sick. Not bad!

So this is a Baja Blast pie with buttery graham cracker crust and creamy Baja Blast filling, topped with an extra layer of bright green agar and Baja Blast topping to give the layered effect.

Our goal was $250, so we set a stretch goal of $300 that resulted in the little Spamton and River boat cookies. My youngest told me that Spamton is too cute to eat and I kinda agree…

This was so fun but, being sick, I’m definitely feeling it a day later!! Today was a “sit down and drink tea and watch tv all day” kind of day as a result.

Happy birthday, Deltarune!

I have very fond memories of loading up the game for the first time on October 31, 2018 and being mystified and intrigued. As an Undertale fan I had no idea what to expect. Now, it’s one of my favourite pieces of media ever. It dropped about 15 minutes before we took my eldest trick or treating, and my husband had to pry me away from my laptop 😅 I was like “I KNOW BUT??? BUT WHAT IS THIS?????”

Anyway, here are some Deltarune inspired dishes I’ve made over the years. I’ll probably make more eventually and am open to suggestions!

1 - CD Bagel - extra seedy! Multi coloured mirror glazes and lustre dust to make it ✨ sparkle ✨

2 - RouxlsRoux - rich red wine roux with homemade spaghetti “worms” (leftover from making Papyrus’ spaghetti the same week)

3 - Lancer Cookie - maybe not a cookie?

4 - Kris Get The Banana (Cream Pie) - Not A Canon Dish But A Bit Of A Mixtape

5 - Clubs Sandwich - made with crispy vegan carrot bacon. This was so good, I should make it again 🤔

6 - TV Dinner - homemade vegan steak (you can hardly tell it’s not real blood!), a sugar cone saturated in silver lustre dust, and a giant crumb of your favourite pie (butterscotch cinnamon, which I made to celebrate Undertale’s 10th anniversary). Chocolate sauce Tenna smile and veggies, too.

Extra seedy CD bagels - with a musical crunch!

This was a fun concept and was tricky to execute! Everything was scratch made. I made 7-seed bagels from scratch first, then used different coloured mirror glazes on top to create a shiny rainbow effect. I’d love to give these another go someday, maybe adding some lustre dust for shimmer!

I made a Deltarune inspired TV Dinner!

I combined all three item descriptions. So, we have:

- a giant crumb of your favourite pie - Cinnamon Butterscotch pie (specifically the one I made for Undertale’s 10th birthdayversary)

- the TV’s pointy nose is used as a cone for the ice cream - sugar cone heavily saturated with silver luster dust to make it very shiny. My mouth was metallic after I ate it. Plus, vanilla ice cream.

- the vegan steak seems to be a normal shape - normal-shaped vegan steak, made from scratch.

Also some veggies, because I’m sure Tenna would endorse getting however many the Canada food guide recommends. And a little chocolate syrup smile to go with the ice cream.
