max verstappen you made up an insurmountable amount of points. all alone. no team orders, no fastest car, no teammate to help you develop the drive and to swap positions with you. you were not in the running at all before the end of summer break. you are a miracle worker and there's not a single driver on this grid who could have willed himself back into the championship and even take it to the final race. we could never, ever be disappointed in you, because we all know, without a shadow of a doubt, that regardless who wins, you are the best driver on this grid
