Tauriel’s costume incorporated two color ways of this tree bark fabric. She had a coat of that in green, and over top of that she wore a very fitted, brown leather corset. And down the front of it we have these laser-cut leaves. I’m quite fond of layering fabrics, so you get a glint of something else, particularly on the elves. I wanted it to have a slight magical feeling where you kind of go ‘‘Ohhhh, what is that exactly’’ (BotFA EE bts)
