For this shot I knew we had one go at it since the elevators are communal, and I wasn’t about to hold one up for a shoot. So I relayed what pose I was looking for to Kayla, my assistant on this one, and she went up to tell Brittany to come down the elevator to the basement. Then Kayla would shoot me a text that she was on her way so when the doors opened I would ready and waiting, camera in hand, and just rapid fire shoot. Then have Brittany step out as the doors closed, and go with what we got.

Happily it worked, and I was able to retool an off-chance into this composite.

Reimagine and Deconstruct #1

This shoot was actually intended for another model. That didn’t pan out, so at the last minute of my shoot with Anthony I decided to give him the umbrella and run with it as I already had the prop with me. I knew he was comfortable shooting with me, and with pretty much any concept I’d throw at him. Funny story about that coming on his second edit next week.

I’ve sketched out about 10 or so of these to make a series of similarly based edits to do over time, mostly at future CAC’s.
