I passed my viva with minor corrections!!!
It was online and I was shaking so much for all of it and given how much they grilled me and how much my nerves made me muddle up my answers, I really thought I was going to be major corrections at best 😅
But I did it and I never have to do it again! They had really good suggestions for changes needed before publishing and apologised for being pedantic at the end 😭

#proudgrad Challenge - Day 1 pt 2
Went for a walk around the nature reserve and saw a bluetit going HAM on a caterpillar. Made a solid chilli but my motivation waned by the end of the day so did not do workout #2. We go again tomorrow 🫡

A Grad to be Proud of 👩🎓 - Self Improvement Challenge
I have let my self care slide this year with restarting med school and submitting my thesis, but now I can breathe again, I want to be in a place I can be proud of for my grad in 63 days. I’ll be posting daily to keep me accountable, and tracking #proudgrad if you want to join!
This is what I’ll be doing daily:
- 1 outside workout
- 1 other workout
- Read 10 pages non-fiction
- Eat healthily
- No alcohol
- Progress picture
- Drink 3000ml
- Check in with a loved one
- No phone 1hr after wake up/ in the bedroom

- My gf is now my fianceeeee 🤭

I am devastated. I've been listening to piano music while I work on my assignments, but didn't take the time to see who painted the cover art or composed the pieces... Now I've come to realise that it's ALL ai generated. My heart sank, wtf is this
the YouTube channel Blue Turtle has both hand-drawn (& beautiful) fantasy animations & originally composed music by real people! I’ve been listening to their videos for a while and they are so lovely. Some of them have ambient noises with the music (“Spring Hike” has birds and wind) and they all have a setting or mini story to them. Cannot recommend them enough <3
Other ones like The Dead of Night and INNER ACADEMIA are more about ambiences rather than music, but are still lovely and created by people. Final rec is World of Mithrasa, which is similar to Blue Turtle!

Shambolic bc my brain didn’t know what to focus on and I feel like some of the 200-odd conditions I have to know are being ignored for the more famous ones (ie cutaneous warts for COPD) 🥹
