a decade or more ago and the street level hero doing investigative work to track down a target would have had to go do the groundwork themselves. would have had to track down clues, talk to the citizens on the streets, maybe go to a computer guy for some intel, etc etc. narrowing down potential locations until staking out the right one... but instead nowadays, the street level friendly neighborhood hero spider-man uses the mass 24/7 surveillance state created to control/watch everyday citizens to his advantage for his own personal vigilante reasons. accessing city cameras and facial recognition software to hunt down, capture, and depower an extremist mutant like...... okay. sure. yeah.

seeing nick take down charlie's photos hurt like hell but what really killed me was seeing that he removed the bisexual pride flag too. just another sign that he really didnt know how to be proud and confident in his sense of self at the time if it wasnt directly tied up in his relationship with charlie

walked 1 and a half hrs of the two hour walk it's going to take to get to my certain death, before i turned around and came back home bc i was exhausted and unsure of how far my destination truly was... but now i know everything for sure after some pre planning and research and it's time i die. this year, this month. the next time i leave the house to take this walk it will be to my certain death. less than a month and ill just be a bloated floating corpse in a river, yippie
