Spoilers ahead.

I loved Vaughn and Yulian. They are an amazing couple but there were a few things that I didn't enjoy, and thus my score.

Firstly, the start, where they are 15 and at camp, were slow and didn't really capture my interest. Once we were in the present, the story got more interesting. I don't mind the video Yulian sent Vaughn of him with Vaughn's girlfriend but I hated that he kept on talking about it while he and Vaughn had sex for the first time. He should have been focussed on Vaughn, not Danika. Their relationship was cute though and I enjoyed it up until the letter. It felt so unnecessary, like it was added drama just for the sake of drama. The arranged marriage wasn't needed and the way Yulian finally killed his father could gave been so much more impactful.

I listened to the audio and it is pure perfection. I love everything about this book. The plot was amazing and the characters were fantastic. Gareth and Kayden are one of my favorite fictional couples. I abselutely love Gareth's character.

I liked Simon in the show so I'm happy that I like his character in the book as well. I didn't particularly enjoy the part where he turned into a rat though. I liked Izzy more in the show but she wasn't in the book a lot so I'm hoping she'll grow on me as I continue reading.

We really didn't get much of Alec and Magnus which is sad but I loved the little pieces that we did get.

I'm reading the snippets posted online as well as the published short stories at the places they fit in the books.

I read Magnus's Vow right after the party scene at his loft. It didn't explain to much but I loved getting that little piece from his pov.
