on this picture i drew Alexandr Andreevich Alexandrov - cavalry officer of the russian imperial army that participated in napoleonic wars. people persistently keep on misgendering mispronounsing deadnaming and calling him a crossdresser although alexandrov clearly stated that he didn't want to be called by his deadname and being treated like anything but a man. that's an interesting historical figure and i wanted to draw attention to his person. i can't tell everything about him in only one post so i recomend you to read about alexandrov by yourself

Just watched Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) make such a solid point that I think we should spread far and wide. Yes, having AI write your emails is lazy, sure, but people love being lazy. We need to really emphasize that sending AI emails (or using AI responses on social media, or publishing AI flyers, or or or) is rude.
It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.

A Clothing Item They Would Wear /
A skintight, sleeveless, dark leather top. Listen, Elore loves her leather. For its tough and durable, yet deeply sensual appearance. For its bold, unique scent. For its supple texture that clings tightly to her skin, just the right amount. Additionally, since she’s rather confident about her formidably muscular build, she will absolutely enjoy putting on the occasional gun show. (She's had exactly zero complaints about it so far.)
A Texture In Their Signature Colour /
You wouldn’t necessarily notice it at first glance, but she is a real gem. Slightly unpolished on the outside, except for the naturally smooth edges, but a gem nonetheless. If you manage to break it open, warm light and sparkling colours can be found at its core. Speaking of colours, while she usually prefers neutrals, she knows that dark purples and deep burgundies suit her marvellously.
An Animal That Suits Their Personality /
She is, undoubtedly, the elven embodiment of a black labrador. Kind and loyal (almost to a fault), she has almost no bark and generally acts friendly towards strangers — a trait that has caused her more trouble than necessary over the years. Still she never learns and remains devastatingly bad at detecting malice or ill-intent (intelligence is her lowest stat after all). She’ll wag her tail at the faintest show of approval. Pathetic. Interestingly, she won't hold a grudge if an angry cat scratches her nose (looking at you, Astarion…)
Plus she'll comfortably fall asleep next to the fire after a good meal. She is best girl, hands down. <3

An Object In Their Bag /
A hand-carved bee pendant, gifted by her cousin. She doesn’t wear it, but never parts with it. Bees are symbolic to her, as they were instrumental in her finding out she had a gift for communicating with animals.
An Interest Of Theirs /
Woodcarving. She picked up this craft soon after moving to Baldur’s Gate, from the woodworking artisan who employed her. He taught her the basics and she ran with it. She has excellent fine motor skills and nearly infinite patience, so she will often sink innumerable hours into a project. If only to keep her hands (and her mind) busy.
An Abstraction That Captures Their Vibe /
She left the forest decades ago, but deep inside she is still of nature and of the wilderness. Her heart aches when she remembers the feeling of wandering in the woods under overcast skies, when humidity accentuates the surrounding scents of nature. Of decay and growth, of what dies and what lives. Stumbling upon a small pebbly brook and taking a moment to get lost in the soft, purling babble of running water. Listening closely still, only to notice its sound resembles a carillon of crystalline notes, as if each drop had its own voice. Remembering she is but one drop within the multitude. And finding inner peace.
A Food Or Beverage They Enjoy /
Elore’s appetite could be described as ravenous on an average day. Watching her eat is impressive, only because her stomach is seemingly bottomless. To fill her belly, nothing compares to a warm crispy loaf of bread, served with a (very) generous wedge of the sharpest cheddar she can find. She’s especially fond of honey as well, because of the bee thing…
