Dylan has been working on awesome Maya models to help with layouts! While our film is entirely 2D, having 3D reference helps us make sure our layouts have accurate perspective and proportions. Here are some shots around the town of Barthol.

Fanny has been working on character designs of or villagers. Here we have her vicar design and some kids. In the third image you can see Natsumi’s take on one of her designs/

These villager designs are based off the crew! Each member drew themself in the style of the film then Natsumi (our lovely director) redrew the designs to fit the look of the film. On the bottom image you can see Julia’s drawing of herself next to Natsumi’s rendition. Top image colored by Jacquelyn.
