I should note, they’re not a very healthy Eridian.
They have crystals that grow on them, leading to them needing “sheared” of their “wool”, this growth of crystals also makes them need to consume a lot more food, or else their carapace is much more brittle.
The crystal growth also leads to their echolocation being much weaker, along with their voice kinda echoing. (I kinda stole this from @sharkfiinn’s Prism :3, so uhh… look at their adorable little rainbow)
But that’s not all folks! They also have birth defects! Their four main hands only have 2 claws! Leading to it looking like Sheep has hooves.

Oh, since crystals don’t grow on that one part of their carapace, they actually face whoever’s speaking with that side

This is the best description I’ve heard for this method, I always thought it was bullshit because I never heard a description that actually explained how to do this other than “tap your head 20 times”.
I have anxiety-induced hissing, which sounds/feels different from sound-induced tinnitus (which I have also experience). Sound-based tinnitus actually sounds like you’re “hearing” something in your ears, whilst the hissing I have feels like it’s “inside my head”, if that makes sense. But this technique still helps!!
