Wanted to share a quick WIP of Paladin Mike stepping out of Will's painting because I'm still on the Bravebyers bus...

will comforting mike through visuals and saving mike's life by recalling the swingset memory through visuals, as an 𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩

everything that is happening rn all over the world for queer people shows us how important it is to have this kind of communities where love and queer identities are celebrated, and where everybody can be themselves.

it shows us why we still need to be loud (when we can) about our pride. and why we still need to show our anger at all these governments taking away our rights, and taking away more and more human rights, the rights of immigrants, of women, of people of color...

that's part of why having such a big and beautiful byler community is important, because we exist, and we're proud. we're proud of our queerness. and don't ever let anyone make you feel ashamed of that pride.

so, happy pride month to queer people in senegal, to trans people in the usa (and other queer people), to queer people living trough a genocide right now, to queer immigrants, to queer people of color, to queer women living in a country where they are being oppressed, to queers whose identity are constantly being ignored and seen as childish, and to every out and closeted queers.

and fck to all of these governments turning more and more far right...

i see a lot of people saying jonathan hates mike but i can't see how he 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙

jonathan watched mike grow up from being so small and being will's first friend, and he watched their bond develop and he saw how much they always understood eachother

i firmly believe jonathan sees mike like 𝙬𝙚 see mike, he sees that enthusiastic caring little boy shining through his complex exterior and he 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 how he got there, and he 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙝𝙞𝙢 so fucking much

and i genuinely think jonathan might be one of the closest to 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 mike out of everyone
