Aww thank you anon. I started writing cause I read fanfiction and had ideas of my own. I took a break from it for a few years and then started writing again cause I needed to get away from personal stuff.
Piper made sure that everything was perfect. Cloth napkins wrapped around their silverware, check. Candles and flowers on the table as decorations, check. Mood music, check. Homemade dinner that she didn’t burn, check. Nice dress, check.
She let out a sigh of relief before looking at the clock again. Only one more minute. Annabeth was punctual, very punctual. Even coming home from class.
The door started to rattle, a minute later, before it swung open. Annabeth slipped off her shoes, amazed at what Piper did. Her mouth was slightly ajar as she looked around.
Piper smiled and quickly walked over to give her a kiss.
“Yup! Now, may I take your coat, ma’am?” She asked.
Annabeth slid off her jacket and gave it to her before heading to the table. She was amazed that Piper could recreate a five star restaurant atmosphere in their crappy apartment.
Piper pulled out her chair and pushed it in when Annabeth sat down. “On the menu tonight, spaghetti bolognese.”
She lifted the cover in front of Annabeth.
“Piper, this is absolutely amazing.”
“I’m glad you like it.” She smiled as she went to take the cover off of her own plate. She sat down and undid her napkin to put on her lap. “So, how was your day?”
“Pretty boring until now.” Annabeth smiled before taking a bite. “Wow! This is really good.”
Piper was beaming. She was really proud of this and keeping it a secret from Annabeth was harder.
“How was your day?” Annabeth asked, wiping her mouth.
They kept talking about their day. Once they were done eating, Annabeth took Piper’s hand and made circles on the back of her hand with her thumb.
She knew she had to thank Piper somehow for putting this all together.
At the end, Piper was getting up to put everything in the dishwasher.
“No, I’ll do them.” Annabeth told her. “You did all of this. And I have something else in mind.”
She pulled Piper to their room, and was trying to remember where she put Piper’s favorite vibrator.
Piper eagerly followed, already feeling flushed and excited as Annabeth kissed her neck.
Note to self, make special dinners more often.
